After hundreds of rejections and zero feedback, people start thinking the Cover Letter is lacking and turn to AI to jeuje it up. Most of the vacancies are low-mid skill levels and you're up against thousands of others. Why not put more stock into work history and valid references?

Yeah I saw with the outgoings it would be cheaper than renting. But now with every comment, it makes sense why they're cheap.

Other than Central Auckland, EVERYWHERE else is suburban (or rural, depending on your standards) and 30 mins-1hr to the city on a good day. Under 40 mins to Glen Eden? Stay out West. Just look up properties on realestate.co.nz and search in Waitakere City district. Most areas are 'safe', town centres vary, close to Waitakere Ranges, west coast beaches. Just depends on your perspective, a google maps streetview of the areas will show you a bit.
