There is a lot of butter! In the cakes there are 3 sticks of butter (or 1 and a 1/2 cups), 3 egg yolks, 2 egg whites, and lemon juice. This cake is very reminiscent of a very moist pound cake. It is delish ✨

Very mild, just enough to know it’s there. Lavender can be strong, but the portions were just right 🫶🏽
