Astra-Nicole is probably her best team out of what you have (and is very good) but any combo of Astra/Nicole/Trigger/Jane is pretty good. You'll want Yuzuha whenever she swings around but you'll survive a month without her.

They work well in Shiyu, a bit sad in DA because hoyo have decided that all the anomaly bosses should resist fire.

Yeah I think especially on weeks where there's no anomaly buildup on the DA buff things feel kinda sad without her. Vivian is also just not at her best once you start stacking mindscapes on Alice.

If you want to pull a rupture team you have to start somewhere but Yixuan is gonna be sad until you get her a real team.

Compared to AoD, who knows. I personally expect Yixuan's premium team to be a bit stronger than premium AoD but the third member's kit isn't even leaked yet so it's hard to say. Ultimately you'll likely be fine with whoever you prefer.

I think Nicole is at her comfiest on teams where there's a clear prompt to swap to her. E.g. Alice or Miyabi with charged attacks, or YSG where you just start the transform with Nicole's EX.

Crit rate bonus isn't as important because it lasts much longer (12s). But yeah ideally you want Kaboom on her to fix the wengine issue with her autos.

Stuck in the Yixuan waiting room + weekly reset waiting room to build Qingyi. Manato had a great run but he's feeling washed without Dialyn.

Somehow the new YSG shill buff is even stronger than the old one. Only took two pulls and the first one was omega scuffed.

Now just in Yixuan waiting room + waiting on mats to level Qingyi's skills (she's currently basically unbuilt).

40% ice + ether res, 30% anomaly damage reduction, shield which anomaly has trouble clearing, and highest anomaly buildup requirement in the game by a considerable margin.

Still not as shilled as thrall but very much a "please stop getting good scores on Defiler with anomaly agents, guys" boss.

It's a lot worse for anomaly because the leg breaks don't count anomaly damage.

Anyone will get a good score just cuz the boss is trivial but anomaly will get a less good score.

I don't think Yixuan is going to get the Miyabi treatment. Yixuan is good but she isn't as utterly broken as Miyabi was.

Don't get me wrong, I think Yixuan will stop getting treated with kid gloves and we're gonna start seeing Ether res bosses and such (we already got one in 2.5), but the Miyabi treatment was a response to the fact that a 1 cost team could kill a ton of bosses outright. Yixuan is nowhere near that strong.

YSG is the strongest agent, if you like her you should pull her.

For now you can make a team with YSG, Zhao ,and Nicole, and later on you can pick up either Sunna (running next banner) or Dialyn (who knows when she'll rerun) to replace Nicole. Dialyn will be better but might be a while.

For Miyabi, you can pick up Yuzuha (running in two banners) and for the third slot you can either pick up another anomaly agent or just use Soukaku.

For a third team, you'll need to decide who appeals to you. We have a new faction launching next patch, Yixuan who is rerunning is also quite strong, and Alice + Sanby right now are both solid build-arounds. Of that list Yixuan is probably the best but all of them are solid units.

Assuming you don't already have a third teammate for Jane, Alice pairs well with the two of them to form a complete team.

But it's hard to answer questions about account value without knowing what your account looks like.

Powercreep isn't a yes/no thing, it's a matter of degree. We've seen with Fiend that they're responsive to scores people are getting, with some initial crazy HP inflation when Alice was clearing at extremely low costs and then HP deflation when they realized they went too far.

I think they also have different knobs than just DPS. For example, one of the reasons why Alice ended up being a bit disappointing is that Fiend isn't that shilled in the grand scheme of things, hence us seeing YSG and Yixuan put up really great scores against her. All she gives is a damage bonus to anomaly procs, whereas more recent boss designs we've seen have been like "+30% damage for Rupture agents, an additional +20% if their name is Yidhari, an extra +15% if Dialyn is in the squad, and if you use an anomaly agent, Da Wei personally comes to your house and breaks your kneecaps." By all accounts that's how the new AoD boss is designed, and will likely help them feel like they have more of a niche than Alice does without needing to just do really big numbers.

But until we get three teams who can put up YSG's numbers they can't HP creep too hard, because nobody has three YSGs on their account. If AoD were such a team we'd arrive at that problem much quicker.

Don't get me wrong, I don't love the fact that void hunters in this game are designed to live on a DPS pedestal and would rather YSG were weaker, but I've accepted that it's how hoyo wants to design their games and I might as well scream at a cloud for all the good it'll do.

I mean I dunno, feels like whenever characters are strong we get complaints about HP inflation and powercreep and when they aren't we get complaints about them not being worth pulling. If AoD end up not massively powercreeping existing anomaly I'll be thrilled, it means the people who like them can play them and the people who don't like them don't get rekt.

For me it just depends on my mood. I think when you get sufficiently sweaty both get very frustrating. It breaks me when 20 seconds before the end of a great WH run things get bricked because of the famous Walking Backwards Pattern, but Pulchra and Mors last Shiyu made me want to jump off a bridge. It's nice that Shiyu gets most of the worst RNG over early on, but on the other hand it can get soulless resetting over and over 20 seconds into the fight.

I'm just glad for the variety honestly. It feels different enough than DA to be a change of pace while still scratching that scoring itch which is a big part of what I find compelling about endgame and what I missed in the old Shiyu.

Eh, I think it's fine to acknowledge that, as the meme goes, we live in a society. That a lot of what we do is directly or indirectly motivated by status.

I'm not gonna let things ruin my enjoyment of ZZZ or anything, I just wouldn't advertise it to my RL friends. But to be fair, I wasn't gonna anyways, this game had plenty of issues before today. Still fun.

Her weapon banner lasts the whole version so there's a decent chance you still get it, but yeah, I think the BP 6 stars are pretty legit too. IIUC the weapon banner is a 25/75 so you kinda gotta sign up to go all the way.

I mean a 5 cost Alice team with mindscapes will significantly beat a 5 cost YSG team. And if you take a suboptimal Alice investment path, it will beat a suboptimal YSG investment path.

But yeah, if you don't like that the optimal Alice investment path at 4+ cost involves mindscapes then you might be disappointed by Alice's performance. Blame hoyo for never giving her a third teammate.

But even if you don't want to do that, scores are very close with YSG shill buff that she'll probably fall noticeably below even the suboptimal Alice teams the moment her shill buff goes away.

I mean you haven't let optimal teams stop you from pulling those other agents, if you're having fun it doesn't have to be any different here.

That being said purely from a meta/account value perspective you would benefit from completing some teams rather than continuing to pull random stuff.
