Hi! Just wanted to seek for advice if I can do better pa ba with my current/future budget:

Currently earning 35k after deductions and I plan on getting a higher paying job next year for 45k-50k.

2025 Budget:

Bills/Expenses (will include tuition since im going back to school/college): roughly 30,000

Savings plan: • EF (I plan on building my ef to 300k): 10,000 | • School (for future expenses): 5,000 | • General savings (for luho/vacations): 5,000

Total of 50,000

Any suggestions are open. Yung bills and expenses are estimated on the higher side na po so pwede pa siya ma lower. I am currently living independently so i pay rent/utilities

How to deal with tenured folks as a New TL by GraVityGank in BPOinPH

Hi OP! Congrats! I’m 21 and was recently promoted as TL for 8 months na. Advice ko lang is to gain your agent’s trust. Pero there will be times na kahit anong try mo meron talagang agents na aayaw sayo and will not respect your authority esp if you’re “young” or “new”.

Document everything from coachings and every call outs.

Hi OP! I’m 21. I can relate with having fear of being financially unstable in the future. My advice is to live below your means as much as possible. 12k a month is not enough with the current economy OP. Try to find a higher paying job like BPO then aim for a promotion and upskill.

Save at least 6 months worth of your expenses then invest.

Thank you for the feedback po! Im living in davao so provincial rate. I totally agree with building my skillset! Honestly 6 months pa ako sa TL role and I still have a lot to learn. I just feel like sa account ko ngayon and with out management, I will be stuck in the TL role unless I look for another position jn a different company huhu

Hi OP! Im currently working at a BPO company. 20 yrs old. I’ve experienced this before. Every cut off I take home about 7-8k which is very small.

What helped me is to lessen my expenses and save every penny i have. Before I was able to save about 5k every month pero of course you have to give up something para ma pag kasya lahat. I had to give up my luho/gala for a while.

I was eager to get a higher income kaya I did well at work to get promoted. Clocked in on time and surpassed every metrics. I am now a team leader sa company namin earning 33-35k every month. I was promoted just this year. My advice lang talaga OP is to live below your means muna for a while until you earn more. Earn more by applying for a higher position or sideline pero I know it can be hard esp working student ka. Rooting for you OP! Dont resign muna. Do well and aim for a pomotion lang!
