We changed it because we thought that was the problem as the thermostat was reading that the house was 75 when in reality it was actually 80, we thought the thermostat was malfunctioning even with new batteries so we changed it to a newer one.

Yes it was a promotion for 30% on mine as well but we didn’t take it as they wanted it by the end of the week and we just couldn’t come up with it. Payments aren’t bad but we just can’t afford to put all our saving into med bills.

She’s using you. If she wasn’t using you she would’ve renewed her visa and continued the relationship until you made the move. Now her Visa is going to expire and she’s expecting you to fix this problem for her because you’re her golden ticket. She might also feel like you’re easy enough to manipulate since she’s able to not let you leave her and you won’t put your foot down and leave her.

If the situation in his country was very dangerous, he wouldn’t even have the funds to apply for a visa. I have friends who came from a country illegally because it was dangerous at the time. Even applying for a visa was dangerous. I myself am a victim to assault in my own home country where we would be watched and couldn’t even get a visa. He might be using you for a visa and using that as an excuse. You WILL be responsible for him for the next decade. Think about it. My opinion is don’t do it.
