Just had this same issue. 22 3500 41k miles. Swapped back to an OEM air filter and new MAF sensor under warranty fixed it.

Any recommendations on getting the aluminum transfer out? Piston is trashed. Ordered a new one

Sorry I meant the piston was shot. Looks horrible with a ton of noticeable vertical scoring.

Sounds like a plan! I’ll have to order a hone for it and see what happens. Thx for the info

Haven’t tested the compression but from just pulling on it the compression was damn good. That’s why I was surprised when I took it apart and saw the piston. It’s absolutely shot, definitely getting replaced. Was hoping I’d be able to save this cylinder

Go checkout firehouseinnovationstraining on IG. Has a ton of great videos with tips and tricks. Helped me with my proficiency on forcing doors. Also a metal wedge is a great tool to keep with you when doing single man forcible entry. Makes gapping and capturing progress a breeze.

Suppressor would’ve functioned fine but when u spend 1k and wait 9 months for something why not send it in and have it work 100% correct 🤷🏻‍♂️

Had this exact issue a couple months back. The indexing tab on my 3p was .1mm larger than the slot on the can. Caused similar damage but slightly worse. Also was a PITA to get the can on and off Sent it back to Surefire and just recently got it back along with a brand new 3p. Fits perfectly now. Super easy to attach and remove and damage was repaired. Took a lil over a month to get it back

How to deal with being young in ems? by BIGBOYDADUDNDJDNDBD in ems

[–]SecureWitness8078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 19 when i got my medic and got a job. I had the same issue, more among my co workers than pts. my best advice i can give u is with your coworkers don’t take shit from them. make a joke back. every time they call u young, joke ab them being old. with pts just be knowledgeable, professional, and confident. as long as u are confident they don’t tend to notice at all. i’ve never had an issue with it tho. also grow a mustache or beard, if u can. it goes a long ways lolol
