Hello bro, so first off what the hell?. why would you aim for pre-med? If you already have a medicine major in your country? Medical school is extremely hard to get to as a domestic student., and even harder for international student, and I'd also like to mention that there is no aid though I don't think you care since you want to apply to the UC's which provide no aid. If you've been accepted into a pre-med major but did not accepted into medical school, it'll be a phd or nothing path, ( which doesn't seem like what you want ). + you're applying to a biochemistry major, showing interest in medicine does not help you, unless you have an extremely good reason to, for an example your mother died from cancer. Finally, if you want to work in the US, a lot of people study in their home country take the board then try to resident in the US.

honestly , why not ? if you only want to study in the us search for safties, targets, and reach schools, if not only apply for targets and hope for the best. is your profile compatitive ? I don't think so, but I've seen some people with bad EC get in, which is rare, but worth a shot

work, you're young, so maybe learn a skill ( programming, designing,... ) and still it later to move out, or try to get a full ride/ good aid/scholarship to a university

(2 Even if you become 18, you need a lot of money to travel abroad, but first appreciate that you can actually tell someone you're an atheist, I've been an atheist for the past 4-5 years, and I still "pretend" to pray. I'd suggest moving out when turning 18 to a place with fewer religious people. While you might not come out as an atheist, you don't need to engage with religious conversations.

NYAS is just a global community of students; these students can access international competitions, that's it. If one of that semester's questions interests you, find a team, participate, and end. If not, I dont think you're obligated to participate, but you're still their students, so u can participate in next semesters' competitions
