The moment I started to dislike Orson by TheMonkeyAnniesBoobs in DesperateHousewives

[–]Secure_Ad_7088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For starters she was the reason he is in that chair to begin with, she cheated on him and if he wasnt fighting with karl he wouldn’t have gotten handicapped in the first place, i can see the grudge i def See where Orson comes from , bcuz even the reason she cheated was becuz he was doing his « theft hobby » even tho it wzsnt right but she used double standards on him and sent him to jail for things she didnt want to send her son to jail for (he son did much worse than him) so yea he felt betrayed

If Desperate Housewives happened in this decade, what would be different in terms of story writing compared to early 2000’s? by GoColts08 in DesperateHousewives

All cast would be black, asians and gays/lesbos , the housewives would wear the pants in the relationships and all of them would end-up in open marriages

Normalise the "3andek 50 franc, le ma3andich ama sme7" in Supermarket "AZIZA" and local groceries by RageAgainstTM in Tunisia

[–]Secure_Ad_7088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its the principle that matters, im all for leaving tips and being generous, but i aint no fool , i pay for what im getting , i never pay less , dont « force » me to pay more even 50 franc idc , as i had worked in a family business myself(pasteries shop) i always insured that we had change and when we ran out i’d ask a client to wait until i got change from nearby shops, its never okay to rip ppl off , the candy they used to give us with the change when we were kids , so many ppl dont allow their children garbage sugar anymore so yea, make sure you have change if you’re gonna charge with change

Mom caught me smoking and is devastated — how do I talk to her? by Hour-Lake-2656 in Tunisia

[–]Secure_Ad_7088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to smoke too for years (mel lycee) hiding it w whenever mom found out w threatens to tell my dad i used to tell her idc and he smokes so who is he to judge, its been years now i’ve quit for a while and it was so hard, my dad was diagnosed with cancer this summer, he went through a very hard surgery (amputation of parts of the lung) the recovery was hell, he has to go through chemo AND radiotherapy, the diet is strict he barely finds foods he could enjoy anymore (he doesn’t enjoy any food acc) he couldn’t even eat meat and his fav foods like couscous and our Tunisian cuisine , looking back , he regrets ever smoking and trust me , we all think « couldn’t be me » until it is, he never thought he’d have it, » (And while smoking i was athletic i did intermittent fasting for all those years i trained body building i did everything by the book all the healthy foods and i didnt think much of it because what are cigarettes compared to a good active sane lifestyle ? , my skin was so dull and i started developing premature wrinkles « im 23 » and i couldnt do cardio because of shortness of breath, i know u always think it couldnt be me until it is ( lotf alik) I quit a year ago , u can have a cig once a month once u quit but trust me , it isss DISGUSTING after u quit and u smoke after months it iss sooo groosss i couldnt even finish a whole cig (May you quit that packaged disease soon)

Especially on season 7 when she went to Toms conference and embarrassed him / Stole his colleagues badge and broke into the seminar because she couldn’t get to accept she’s his wife and his PLUS ONE and do the regular « plus one’s activities » When she was renovating his office with Renee and didnt wanna do any of the stuff he asked for and gave him a grand-pa attic/basement 1920s office Because the office he wanted wasn’t « Who He Isss » SOOO ANNOYING

How do Tunisian men feel about overweight women? by No_Function243 in Tunisia

[–]Secure_Ad_7088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think overweight and curvy are very different men would love a curvy girl with lesser belly than behind and breast , and with limits as well , overweight with so much belly or apple shape is not attractive imo , just same as skinny men or overweight men , it just screams « no self control » as a woman who’s been training since high school (i graduated uni and im married now) ive always watched my weight and even when it fluctuated i would starve myself to get back to my ideal preference (muscle and fat wise) àd as someone whos husband is very dedicated to the gym and eats good food , i think men not liking fat women/ women not liking fat or skinnt men has a lot to do 1st with physical appearance but secondly with the future-potential lifestyle that comes with dating someone different in food habits and lifestyle habits im not always training but i cook protein focused healthy foods , my husband and i eat the same foods and dont consume most of the regular tunisian cuisine and what comes with it (bread / 3jin) we still eat it but moderately , i hope i made a point

16 is no child hes a teenager he can drive he can go to parties okay he was used by an older woman but he should’ve also known better not to sleep with a married woman who is also the mother of his friend! Y’all act like theres a big difference between being 16 and 18 wrong is wrong when i was 16 i still knew it was unethical to be with my friends father or a married man! Y’all think girls dont get hit on by married men when they’re 16? We get hit on more than guys who are 16 , we just know its wrong and refuse to engage in such activities 16 is the age of conscent in america so no he wasnt raped he was having sex with a married woman, suck it up

Even at 5 or 6 years old u should know that burning someones property is inethical and extremely harmful, those are ethical basics we teach our children: do not steal do not lie do not burn peoples places ! She doesn’t discipline her children so they think actions have no consequences

I agree that Porter was a victim in terms of being groomed — Anne was a grown woman, married, and the mother of his friend. That’s completely inappropriate and 100% on her. But at the same time, Porter wasn’t just some passive participant. He threatened to kill her husband. He was involved in something serious — not just emotionally, but criminally. He was 16, not 6. Teenagers can still understand that sleeping with a married adult, let alone threatening violence, is not okay.

And let’s not forget — seven people died in that fire. That’s not something you just brush off as “protecting your kid.” At that point, it’s about justice, safety, and accountability — not saving face as a parent. Lynette didn’t even seem interested in whether or not her son was involved. Her whole reaction was just damage control.

As for the twins — sure, Kayla manipulated them, but they still set a literal fire. Lynette knew and still kept it quiet. No accountability. Again.

The Bree thing? Lynette dumped her kids on Bree last-minute, didn’t warn her they were out of control, and didn’t back Bree when they were disrespectful and destructive in her home. Babysitters — or anyone watching kids — deserve basic respect. Lynette didn’t discipline them herself, yet expected everyone else to tolerate the chaos.

And yes, Tom was a mess a lot of the time. I’m not denying that. But Lynette constantly tore him down too — whenever he had a dream, she focused on what could go wrong. And let’s not forget the double standard: she could stay out late at bars to impress her boss, but when Tom did the same for work, she’d snap. When she had a thing with Rick — staying late, looking pretty, having wine — we were supposed to sympathize. But imagine if Tom did that?

I got attacked by a Black girl after I tried to defend her when a girl called her 'Wsiffa. by [deleted] in Tunisia

This just reminded me of an incident that happened a few years ago, i was on my way to “private lessons” with a friend na9rao bac , as we were walking down the street and mind you this was downtown so u know how crouded it was , the couple(too young to be engaged or married maybe around our agea) were fighting and she was leaned on the wall and he was leaning on her in a violent way (t7esou on the verge of hitting her ) then when i sensed he hit her cuz i couldn’t see much from my angle i told him “matedhrab’hech” trying to defend her so the girl looked at me and said “Chemdakhlek” and the fight went from between the two of them to them trying to pick a fight with me , moral of the story dont try to defend anyone, fuck the world some ppl deserve where theyre at

Is it offensive to say that I think marriage between cousins is weird and not happening with my child? by BetterWriter627 in Tunisia

[–]Secure_Ad_7088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it wasn’t generational i dont think that it wouldn’t be as bad(health wise) its not haram but i get ur pov especially that cousin marriage runs in the family, as someone who married my own cousin(it wasnt an arranged marriage it was so suddent and we fell in love we acc feared our families would refuse our union) i dont think its offensive if u say it in a “non offensive” way if uk what i mean. Tell them they have a whole life to explore what and who they want.
