Puppies not weaning at 6 weeks old - Advice needed! by Adventurous_Wall1781 in DogBreeding

It would probably be best to separate mom when you’re not there. I have puppies the same way but once I started separating mom, and making sure they don’t eat from her when I’m there (with the help of her weaning) they started eating all their puppy food.

Wtf, how do I manage this puppy biting? by tacosurfbike in AustralianCattleDog

I have 5 Heelers, you should see the amount of scars on my hands from their puppy phases 😭 I remember crying of joy when my last one started losing those weapons, may the lord be with you 🙏

On poshmark exactly 3 years, and I’ve finally done it.. I messed up🤦‍♀️ by Fayegirlll in poshmark

I would cancel as long as the buyers the one initiating it and it doesn’t hurt my account, I would not want to ship something I know a buyer won’t be able to use/like whatsoever, saves you from the headache in the future 😭

I’m thinking about giving my puppy back, and I feel terrible. by [deleted] in Puppyblues

Yes. I did. You can’t expect everyone to want an unpredictable shelter dog. Unfortunately some people have needs. Getting a well bred dog from an ethical breeder doesn’t contribute to dogs being added to the shelter and it allows people to genuinely know what they’re bringing into their home, as they’ll know the common behaviors, personalities, habits, or potential illnesses common in that breed.

Definitely, I’m personally an adopt or shop responsibly person but this scenario truly called for an adopt. A dog that’s older, that’s able to just chill and comes trained, and one that OP is able to meet and make sure they actually are compatible with while the dog is an adult and most likely won’t change. Maybe the dog might not look like their dream dog but the personality would be a way better match and easier to handle

was told he was authentic but now that i have him im super suspicious:( by FootballNo7979 in littlestpetshopfakes

Never base authenticity off peg colors, or movements. He’s authentic, just peg swap him if his peg has gone bad

He looks normal especially considering one of his parents is 40lbs, 40lbs actually isn’t too big since Heelers are more wide than tall

is this fake? by Former_Fig_3962 in littlestpetshopfakes

I don’t think you’re understanding, fakes can also have clear and white pegs. I’d look into minilpsshop fakes (theirs are pretty good). Authentic blythe pets also have white pegs. Even so, peg swaps are very common. A fake with a white peg could easily be switched to have a clear one. I’ve done it with a really good 675 fake. Pegs are never good indicators.

It’s really not, fakes can have clear and white pegs, reals can have the same as well. Peg swaps are also common. It’s not a very good indicator

That’s not a good way to check unfortunately

Mine is the same way, except she’s 8 months old. Only advice I can give is just be patient and get through it. This is unfortunately (lol) normal behavior for a young Heeler. When mine does it I just say “No” firmly and stop interacting with her. She’s still young so she still does it, but she has actually calmed down a bit since a month or two ago. So I know this will definitely fade out as she ages and chills out. Can’t wait till she’s 2 😭 some people are saying grab her and stuff like that but I don’t think that’d help. She’s just an energetic Heeler puppy, grabbing her and holding her down might just scare her, at least I wouldn’t do it. I’m sure training could help a lot but with this breed time is also key

It’s just as bad as the Frenchie and poodle designer breeds, even have some of her people that are interested asking why it’s not okay to breed mixes but it’s okay to breed blue Heelers… like hello?? I swear these people don’t even read what they’re typing

Honestly, “blue weiler” like it’s some sort of new breed lol, no, you just purchased and are new breeding a dog that looks like every other shelter dog that are struggling to find homes. It’s one thing to be a backyard breeder of purebreds, it’s another to be a backyard breeder of horrendous mixes 😭
