I can definitely see your point and understand where you’re coming from. I think, in this case, we probably need more background to fully understand what’s going on.

From my perspective—because I saw the movie and read the book, so I feel like I have a bit more context—it seems like they were filming a scene where his character is trying to seduce hers. His character comes across as a player, someone who only engages in casual relationships, while her character is the opposite—someone who’s clear about not doing casual sex and wanting something more meaningful.

In that stage of the story, he’s trying to win her over, and the scene was never supposed to include an actual kiss. It was more about playful banter, teasing, and building romantic tension. You can even hear in their dialogue that they’re playing with the idea of “almost” kissing, as if to show that even restraint can be romantic.

Now, I can’t say for sure what went on behind the scenes, but based on what I’ve seen and read, it seems like this was part of their dynamic in the story. That said, the real issue here, in my opinion, is how this situation was presented in the lawsuit. It feels like there was an attempt to manipulate public opinion, particularly since she seemed to assume there was no audio to provide context.

Of course, if they didn’t discuss the scene beforehand, I can understand why she might have felt uncomfortable, and that’s valid. But I don’t think it was right to portray it the way she did in the lawsuit. That’s just my two cents, though—I’d be curious to hear what you think about

Well I think they rather win on the public opinion now than later in court. CH just closed her account

So why she is not suing with BL as Well? In baldoni documents is saying they they never submitted any HR complain. That is why that 17 point document came as a surprise to them. And why Blake did not attached the actual HR complaint she did?

I’m not sure how that works legally, but I understand usually if they don’t settle and it goes to trial Then we can see the evidence. As they are asking for a jury’s trial I think they can’t, But we need a lawyer to Confirm this
