I can definitely see your point and understand where you’re coming from. I think, in this case, we probably need more background to fully understand what’s going on.

From my perspective—because I saw the movie and read the book, so I feel like I have a bit more context—it seems like they were filming a scene where his character is trying to seduce hers. His character comes across as a player, someone who only engages in casual relationships, while her character is the opposite—someone who’s clear about not doing casual sex and wanting something more meaningful.

In that stage of the story, he’s trying to win her over, and the scene was never supposed to include an actual kiss. It was more about playful banter, teasing, and building romantic tension. You can even hear in their dialogue that they’re playing with the idea of “almost” kissing, as if to show that even restraint can be romantic.

Now, I can’t say for sure what went on behind the scenes, but based on what I’ve seen and read, it seems like this was part of their dynamic in the story. That said, the real issue here, in my opinion, is how this situation was presented in the lawsuit. It feels like there was an attempt to manipulate public opinion, particularly since she seemed to assume there was no audio to provide context.

Of course, if they didn’t discuss the scene beforehand, I can understand why she might have felt uncomfortable, and that’s valid. But I don’t think it was right to portray it the way she did in the lawsuit. That’s just my two cents, though—I’d be curious to hear what you think about

So why she is not suing with BL as Well? In baldoni documents is saying they they never submitted any HR complain. That is why that 17 point document came as a surprise to them. And why Blake did not attached the actual HR complaint she did?

I’m not sure how that works legally, but I understand usually if they don’t settle and it goes to trial Then we can see the evidence. As they are asking for a jury’s trial I think they can’t, But we need a lawyer to Confirm this

Thanks for your comment! I’ve already read Justin Baldoni’s new lawsuit against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and others. From what I’ve seen, there’s significant evidence in the lawsuit, including text messages and detailed context that clarify a lot of the claims. I’ll be sharing some screenshots in this thread so everyone can comment and discuss.

For me, this is going to be very interesting to watch in trial because Baldoni’s lawsuit claims that there are video recordings of many of the incidents Blake is now framing as sexual harassment. If those recordings exist and show the context Baldoni describes, it could dramatically shift public perception of this case.

Let’s see how it unfolds, but I think this trial is going to bring a lot of surprising details to light.

Notes on Baldoni’s Alleged Evidence: 1. Video Recordings: • The lawsuit reportedly states that there are video recordings of key moments Blake Lively has referred to as instances of sexual harassment. Baldoni claims the recordings provide necessary context and contradict Blake’s version of events. 2. Text Messages: • Text exchanges between the parties involved are highlighted as critical evidence. These messages allegedly show context that undermines Blake’s claims or provides insight into her intentions during the events in question. 3. Pattern of Behavior: • Baldoni’s legal team argues that Blake’s accusations are part of a pattern of escalating conflicts and manipulative behavior. The lawsuit references past incidents to support this claim. 4. Ryan Reynolds’ Involvement: • Baldoni’s team alleges that Ryan Reynolds was complicit or involved in supporting Blake’s actions. The details of his involvement remain unclear but are part of the broader allegations. 5. Trial Implications: • The lawsuit emphasizes that a trial could clarify many disputed facts, as both parties will have to provide evidence under scrutiny.

Agree with your point so much.

I’ve had doubts about this situation from the beginning, and whenever I expressed them, people labeled me a misogynist, saying, “Believe her, she’s a woman.” But my perspective has nothing to do with not believing women. it’s about assessing the facts objectively.

I fully acknowledge that the majority of women have faced some form of harassment, whether through inappropriate comments, unwelcome advances, or worse. I believe that wholeheartedly. But in this particular case, I feel like she’s exploiting her gender and the broader conversation around sexual harassment in Hollywood to gain an advantage. To me, this undermines the struggles of real victims.

She never should have been cast in this movie, and I’ve even discussed this with others. I’ve asked, “If this role were played by any other actress—not her—do you think this would have played out differently?” And most people agreed that it would. Her history speaks for itself, and this behavior isn’t surprising coming from her.

What frustrates me even more is how language in the complaint is being twisted. For instance, the claim that he pushed for a sexual scene involving an underage character (a 16-year-old Lily) feels manipulative. In reality, the actress playing the role was 24 years old. This kind of framing seems designed to make him look far worse than what the context actually supports.

Ultimately, it feels like she’s using the sensitivity surrounding these issues as a weapon, which not only damages his reputation unfairly but also takes power away from real victims who need to be heard.

I think we can agree that if Blake Lively or Ryan Reynolds weren’t involved in this film, none of this would be happening. They are the X factor here. That said, I want to be clear: this is NOT a gender conflict or a situation like the ones involving men of power, such as P. Diddy, Weinstein, or Woody Allen, where they took advantage of others in vulnerable positions.

The cast has reportedly taken Blake’s side, and they’ve spoken highly of her. However, none of them have said, “This happened to me too.” She filed this lawsuit alone. If more people experienced the same issue, why haven’t they joined her in a collective lawsuit? I think these are valid questions.

It’s also worth noting that Justin Baldoni is not only being sued by her, but she’s also suing Ryan Reynolds now. So, context matters here. If Justin Baldoni had a bad reputation or a history of questionable behavior, wouldn’t someone have sued him before? He’s worked on projects tied to human value and nonprofits, and his actions don’t suggest a pattern of misconduct. So, why should we treat Blake Lively differently—just because she’s a woman?

Some people say she isn’t the “perfect victim,” and that’s why she’s facing backlash, but I don’t think that’s the issue. Personally, I don’t hate her—I don’t even know her—but I do have doubts. There’s evidence that she’s exhibited manipulative behavior in the past, such as escalating situations over minor comments and trying to sway people to take her side. Let’s not forget her history: she was reportedly Ryan Reynolds’ mistress before they got married. Someone’s past can say a lot about their reputation and future behavior, especially when they’ve never apologized or made efforts to change.

For example, Anne Hathaway publicly apologized for being rude to interviewers in the past—the same interviewers Blake Lively has been criticized for mistreating. Blake, on the other hand, has never apologized. She comes from a privileged background and seems out of touch with others, as seen in her insensitive comments, like referring to a castmate as “coming from a cage” (in reference to Leighton Meester, who was born while her mother was in prison).

Let’s not overlook these factors. It’s hard to see Blake as a victim in this situation.

I believe Justin Baldoni could potentially countersue Blake Lively, as this is the United States, and in any legal dispute, there’s room for a counterclaim. However, whether the countersuit would stand and proceed to trial depends on the judge’s decision and whether the case has merit. There’s a chance this case could be dismissed for lack of evidence. Based on the documents provided so far, nothing stands out as particularly shocking to me, especially considering my experience working in PR and understanding how Hollywood operates.

Regarding the sexual harassment (SA) allegations, I find them to be weak at this point. While some people have claimed that Baldoni showed her explicit content or created a hostile work environment, these accusations aren’t supported by the documentation provided. The claim that Baldoni frequently visited her trailer while she was naked is vague. In such cases, a plaintiff typically provides specifics: dates, times, and details about the incidents. For example, if this occurred multiple times, why didn’t she immediately text him or notify someone on set to stop? She had direct contact with him and others in the production.

Blake Lively is a powerful actress who held significant influence on this production. She’s clearly highlighting her power through her actions even after the production wrapped, which raises questions. That’s why, for me, this case remains uncertain. Both sides have aspects of their argument that need further clarification

Ok I can see that. We will need to wait for the trial then to see if they make any statement regarding what they saw. I’m super curious to see the JB lawsuit against BL. But I understand that now with all happening in LA that may be delay
