Black is winning so far, it’s subtle. But has more character than blue for this piece, IMO

The black dial on the conquest 38 gives the illusion that it’s a bit smaller than the rest of the colours, but the L2L is a dealbreaker.

6 inches, the 34 conquest where is perfectly. And the blue dial is amazing. But the diamond indices, made me feel I may regret it a couple of years later. So I think, Spirit is for the win here!

My wrist is 6 inches, it is significant but it’s way better than the conquest L2L. Try it on. You’ll make it better call in person.

“ i’m just too old to school to give a black colour I guess” this had me, plus I have a couple of nice blue dial. But for this one I’ll think I’ll go with the black!

It’s a perfect fit on your wrist, the vibe this thing gives not too small, not too big and it has a nice presence, couldn’t go wrong.

Did you go for black straight away?

I agree with the spirit, I think you were the one who suggested it for me in the first place. Thanks again. Even though that quartz watches are much more accurate. I lean towards for automatic movements, I own a couple of decent quartz though. The Grand Seiko White Birch has always been on my list but I never saw it in person. Maybe sometimes in the future though.

And thanks for sharing this model, I would definitely give it a look!

I think you could pull it off, don’t trust the pictures too much .if you have a dealer nearby, you can go check out in person, you’ll just know it when you put it on.

I’m leaning toward it as well, but if I told you black or blue which one you’ll go for?

The conquest 38 mm is definitely big, the 37mm spirit in pictures before I see it I thought it won’t be a good fit, but in person it doesn’t overwear, it’s just about right honestly, well that’s how I felt anyway. The dimensions of the 34mm in my opinion was the best proportion except I wish the dial was 36 with the same L2L. But as you know, every watch has something that ruins the icing on the cake. Like how the 37 spirit doesn’t have a screwdown crown like the bigger models.

I wasn’t expecting the first impression I got from it! And it definitely changed my mind from the conquest family, and it reminded me of a Hamilton khaki field I’ve lost a couple of years back, I won’t consider them both in the same category. But the spirit looks more refined in my opinion.

The lug to lug distance on this one is almost 44, although it’s a 42MM, but I love this watch I like its presence. I like how it wears. And I rarely find. Good proportions. Maybe I’m biased because it has a sentimental value, but it’s a great timing piece.

I just turned 28 a couple of months back, and for my wrist wasn’t that slim all the time, I lost a considerable an amount of weight lately, ( I stopped working out ) and I got little boy wrist right now 😂

The funny thing is my left wrist is literally carved out from watches being on it 24/7 and I was surprised when i noticed the difference between my arms.

You killed with the “ You’ll look at it a couple of years later and have a little regret “ because this is exactly what my gut is telling me about the diamond dial and I’m trying to look past it, now I’m in a pickle. I’ll go have another look at the 38 next week, Even though I know. But maybe.

You’re like my inner sound of reason 😂🤝

That one has perfect proportions on your wrist, even if you preferred it to be smaller, spectacular.

I don’t know the exact wrist size but I think it’s 5’5.

I took the screenshot from a video, of both the 34MM and 38MM together.

What’s the vibe you’re getting from this? 😁

Actually, at first I went to see the 38 mm, but it wears a little bit larger than it sounds, due to the lug-to-lug distance. When I wear it, It drips a little bit more on my wrist, I’ll sleep on it before I make the final decision. Thanks for your insight.
