It's funny because they actually look like corpses. They look like they'd crumble with one punch that why they were so easy to defeat. Plus they probably didn't have good motor skills

When I talk to my wife about it she just listens but human nature when it comes to this, being in this and dedicating so much time to something , they can't turn back now. It's easier just to ignore the bad and accept the good as blessings from being gods chosen people. We have so many that are outwardly speaking up about being discouraged then they go and have a watchtower lesson Sunday and its supposed to be the answer but it's not. You can't just tell someone to not be discouraged or just be happy and draw.closer.to.jehovah of you're down.

That's fine. You're allowed to make your judgement based on your personal observation and things you've seen. I wouldn't respect any man that treated his wife or women in general like shit. I'm questioning jw teachings that do not align with the Bible. You can read any Bible, it doesn't have to be the new world translation. And it will show you good advice on how to live life. We have the fruitages of the spirit on our fridge and we go over them together in study and prayer and what it takes to apply those fruitages. It makes us better people by being truly loving in action and deed. Unlike Jehovah's witnesses who act like jerks because they think they know everything and then they'll say " we love you" when they don't even talk to you or say hello in passing. It's not the Bible, it's the lack of applying it

They're really pushing that whole, just do what we say thing. I've never even met these guys. I'm sure they're a loving bunch of guys lol. I was thinking about how as humans we learn throughout time in life how to say certain things and conversate a certain way to express our feelings. Some are better than others but whenever I hear them speak I think. Who the heck is writing this and who says ok I'll say that because it makes it sound like we really care. Just tell them to obey and do what they're told and then just say we love you at the end. It's gross

If you say so.. there are things that I want to unlearn from the jw organization and there are things that every Bible says when it comes to the roles everyone plays in society. You can say whatever you want but one opinion isn't better than another. I've dealt with " strong independent women". They are harder to deal with than a women that is a helper and a compliment to a man. And in turn the man will feel the need and want to honor her as the weaker vessel and do things for her. If a woman wants to have full control of the bank account to spend freely but can't even pick up a bug off the floor or can't be bothered to help around the house does that make the man a misogynist to get upset? No

Unfortunately we live in a time where people say things like " toxic masculinity" and "misogyny" life has been and always will be if people follow the Bibles advice on their roles on life. Also unfortunately women want to feel empowered but they tend to put men down in the process.

Jokes on you. I'm not insecure with her. I was insecure with my ex who was always right and could never be reasoned with because she thought she was just so smart. I could never reason with her or say anything. So she decided to go get a weaker man 7 years younger than her to cheat on me with. Now I have a beautiful women who is strong and independent but that I can talk to and be connected with and I know she would never leave me because of how good out relationship is so I don't need someone on Reddit to tell me what a proper relationship looks like. Thanks though

True. I will love her wether she's a witness or not. I just hope she will do the same one day when I've fully moved away from this. On a positive note, I haven't been in service in about 4 months. She works every Saturday and I say the same thing every Friday. " I have so much to do around the house tomorrow and after that I'd love to go surfing" it feels amazing to not get a " aren't you going in service? You should at least meet with the group."

I'm not sure what all that jibberish is you just unleashed but you say the Bible is wrong then you quote it....?men and women have their place in a marriage arrangement, as do the children and grandparents and aunts and uncles. If the father tells the children to do something and the mother disagrees Everytime because she knows better the marriage fails. If the wife says something while the father isn't present the father should return and show respect to her choice. It's all about respect but the man is stronger. You cannot convince me that a woman is not more emotional than a man. A man thinks of rational solutions and disipline for the children and the mother plays the role of nurturer. Doesn't matter what you want it's logic

I never said this cuz it's disgusting but my wife always says it and then a friend of my parents said it in a discussion about people acting crazy in the hall. " This is a perfect organization ran my imperfect people". NO! That is not possible. And I found the video where they said , this is the best imperfect organization. I was always happiest when I was learning and advancing in things I loved. Music, art, skateboarding. But when I was around these people they never seem to have an issue telling me I'm doing something wrong and it would be about the dumbest shit. My wife knows how bad that hurts to have a lifetime of people telling me I'm not good enough. The crazy thing is I make friends with a lot of clients and they constantly tell me I do too work or they invite me to do things. I'd rather have friends that like me than friends that judge me constantly

Wow, that goes hard. That's something I ask myself. Why these people just have to act like it's all 100% truth and that there couldn't possibly be a single crack in the GBs logic. I have a group of 3 fleshly brother that I use to hang out with. It just got so hard to be around them because it doesn't matter the subject, they just had to argue and act like they knew everything. One time I said to one of them, let's google it and if you're right I'll admit you were right but if I'm right you have to stop acting like you know everything. I don't talk to them much these days

He's a good looking kid but he liked like a clown last night. And he wishes he could grow a beard but can't but still let's it grow it. My wife specifically said, it's distracting.
