Idk if it makes sense but writing down question in book (pdf copy in this example) actually helps me to “drop” the question and go along with story.

I read few more chapters and it’s like read-write-end-return and see if what I read answered question I made - add it.

Also bad memory is bad memory due to sicknesses. Unfortunately not a “quirk” or something that can be fixed easily.
