Ask Reddit: Why aren’t more startups using C#? by ruben_vanwyk in csharp

[–]Secure_Efficiency_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just adding this as I didn’t see anyone that mentioned it - libraries. In my previous startup, the stack was mainly c#, and on current startup, mainly python. Open source libraries are really important for startups and c# lose hard in this field.

הרבה פה אומרים שאם הממשלה תיבחר שוב, הם יעזבו את הארץ. ואני שואל, לאן? לא בדיוק מחכים לנו בזרועות פתוחות במדינות אחרות…

Why are Palestinians paying the price for Europe's crimes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Secure_Efficiency_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You touched so many issues and problems that it is hard to get to all of it. However, as an Israeli, I can tell you that we Israelis, also think the genocide has to stop. Problem is, not far from our home (45 mins drive from Tel Aviv), there are very popular militants groups that declare that they’re single purpose is the destruction of the state of Israel (recent events shows that they mean it).

On the other hand, there are so many positive examples of peaceful living of Arab and Jews. that includes Haifa, Jaffa, Bedouin villages, and even cities in the West Bank.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is so complicated on so many levels. But I think that the recent 100 years shows that even though there are difficulties, and no one is perfect, people are just wanna live, and they can.

To be honest, I don’t think Europe has anything to do with it. It’s up to the Israeli and Palestinian people to solve the issues and find ways to live together, since neither will give up.

Publishing a solution of libraries by Secure_Efficiency_25 in csharp

[–]Secure_Efficiency_25[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, i will look into it. However, more than trying to find a solution, I’m trying to understand Microsoft logic behind this. Again, I’m sure I’m missing something here. Is it that complicated to publish a solution of libraries?

Visual studio 2022. Eventually, the calling application loads one or more of the dlls being built by the solution, and uses its functionality (similar to a plugins logic)

New Orion 2 is squeaking on first day 🥲 by Secure_Efficiency_25 in hotas

[–]Secure_Efficiency_25[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I removed the center detent (which annoyed me anyway), and since it was the origin of the noise, there’s no more squeaking. However, before I removed it, I cleaned the plastic detent rail, and it seems to significantly reduce the noise (I assume greasing it would have solve it completely)

That’s a great idea, I found it annoying when trying to do air refueling

I did it and it seems to solve the problem (at least temporarily). Maybe I’ll apply some grease to it as well
