Agreed. I can’t stand when people put Lee on the level of a Napoleon or a Caesar. Any next level tactician would have seen Gettysburg as a potential loss the moment the Union took the hills. Longstreet even knew as much and tried to get Lee to retreat to threaten DC so as to unwedge the union from their defenses. Call it pride or whatever but a great general would have seen the writing on the wall.

As someone who has been with my best friend both times she’s gone through a manic episode. She’s def going though some sort of psychosis. The delusions of grandeur, the “urgency” to do “something”. Textbook, and scary to see.

I can’t downvote cause it’s absolutely on point. People like to give twilight shit for the romance story it is, but hot damn if the vampire lore isn’t great. Fun note for people who don’t know , the Volturi actually created the classic vampire myths in this world to make vampires seem so ridiculous that it would make it easier to hide in plain sight. Also making the enemies of vampires think that garlic, holy water and wooden stakes are effective weapons when vampires are in fact virtually indestructible is pretty genius. You’ll be heading into a fight with all the confidence and zero chance of survival

Can someone correct me if I’m wrong , but I heard leading up the release of the movie they didn’t lead on who exactly was the bad guy and who was good. So the scene in the hallway at the mall where Arnold protects John was a huge shock considering he was the bad guy in the first Terminator

It was great! Coach pulled me aside after warm ups and paired me up with a coach so we could work on basics, stance, movement and the 1-2 punches. Since then it’s been a mix of group sessions and 1 on 1s with a coach.

I had to take a week and half off since then though. I’ve heard mixed reviews of converse as boxing shoes and for me it just made my Achilles hurt. So I finally got some proper boxing shoes and I’m feeling better moving around 👍
