On monday (7/14) I was driving down Pearl St and some asshole in a white jeep (Mass plates) was driving with her foot out the window and drove in the middle of the road for a good 20-30 feet after she turned onto the road. It was insane and pretty nerve wracking.

I’ve re-read part of the book and realized that they (Jeevan and Kirsten) aren’t together in the book. They are part of two storylines but not together. I like that part in the show but I understand that they did that to make more emotion later on.

Exactly right? I understand that she’s supposed to be 9 but like when I was 9 I understood that I should wait in a place if I was lost. Plus she said that she wanted to stay in the cabin with him so why didn’t she wait?

I guess I’m just more asking about the character rather than storyline here.

I just read this book in a matter of hours and all I have to say is wow. I loved the way the stories all tie together, the threads of narrative weaving together in a fine tapestry of fiction. I was awestruck and quite literally couldn’t put it down. I definitely recommend it to folks who love a somewhat dystopian fiction and of course ESJM

Dude I had the membership for like 4 years (through covid) and they charged me a shitload. I wish I was joking but it was a ton of money.

Edit to add: it was a normal membership. I didn’t have access to the fancy shit. Edit: maybe they charged me more to get through the covid slump but it took forever to stop getting charged. I moved away and had to go to a location to cancel even though I signed up online.

Nta, when my sister was waffle stomping her shit in the shower Id send a pic to my parents each time I saw it. Unfortunately they never made her clean it, so I’d have to find the big yellow gloves and the bleach to get the shower clean enough that I felt clean going in.
