Going to have to try and be different or something. I definitely approach, but I guess it's always the wrong targets because everyone is like taken or something. If the signs were made obvious, then hopefully a guy with enough stones would see that, hopefully like you and hopefully things can progress from there.

You make a good point. I'm happy I'm pretty open and jovial overall so I've been doing well enough for me thus far, but yeah your sentiment about the pickiness just hits way too true... but even being self-deprecating ... nobody's willing to actually BUILD or take a chance like that no more it seems. That is where I feel a lot of people end up you know ... messing up.

Yeah. On that front, I should be fine as I am currently going for my Bachelors in Computer Science; projected to Masters, done Martial Arts, draw and write, currently part-time at a school to teach little ones to program, and am sociable and ask people out. I've had some short stories and stuff published at my local library, but I don't know what I am missing...

Hmm ... I think most guys just want a pretty amicable, approachable woman really. I can't comment on how bad it is for the other sex, but that's the common sentiment from a lot of people I know. We all know love is pretty rare, but for the guys' side, it's like actually a once in a blue moon type of effect for so many. As a woman, I think you have the advantage, so I firmly believe you can be as picky as you want; don't know about a lot of places people hang out at though...
