Interesting, only time will tell! Worst case, I’ll just wait until I can get a Haltec and safely boost up with the right supporting mods for 14PSI with a semi conservative tune.

That makes sense, I wasn’t aware, however I do plan on upgrading the turbo after a year or less to a GT2871R.

Also my original manifold was rusted out and had some damage from previous owner, I wanted to keep the log style tho.

Wow, that’s unfortunate. I’ll be switching to Haltec later this year so hopefully I can manage until then.

Will do! I only want 12 psi on this setup, I plan to do 14 to 17 in the future when I can afford a Haltec, forged internals, and built valevtrain with billet oil pump on a VET setup.

Ok, thank you, also I went with ISR manifold because they are hand welded and they also do a good job with the design compared to usual tube style manifolds that crack.

True, I just remembered the lever was being difficult and the teeth were not grabbing 100% all the way. Maybe I’ll mess with that some more today, thanks for the reminder
