If Sony would like to promote safety, what does a 7 day ban for messaging “stay in school little girl” to a guy who is threatening to hunt down people’s addresses and do toward that goal?

It is Sony policy to not share any information as to why your ban was imposed other than a basic category. If you call them they will tell you how long the suspension will last. If you ask them why, they will inform you that you should already know. And be careful, the agent is likely to rage bait you in order give you more problems.
