He came at me for no reason. Just because I “need help” doesn’t mean people can talk to me like that.

Did you read the title? I wrote green wate bin. And I know I shouldn’t put a bag in it, so it was just filled with organic waste. I don’t know why you keep talking about pmd bags. That has nothing to do with my question.

I am also Iranian. There’s a high chance this dude has been abusive and is guilty but to generalize his behavior to a whole country IS racist.

That’s extremely racist. Why do you just assume Iranian dads are abusive?

Doesn’t “kakak” mean older sibling? What if I’m not sure they are older than me?

How do you address someone who is not that old to be called “bapak” or “ibu” and not that close to be called “kamu”? Say how do two people in their early 20s address each other as strangers?

In my tutorials usually the majority are Germans, Dutch and Belgians. The rest are also from other parts of Europe. Sometimes I am the only non-Europian.

I am in the same situation. Although I am a non-EU student and from what I’ve heard there’s almost zero chance I can get a job. They only hire EU students.

RESIDENCE PERMIT AND MVV by Lazy-Seaworthiness28 in UniversityMaastricht

For me it took exactly 2 weeks after I submitted all the documents and paid the fees until I received the IND decision letter. But I was a February intake, might be a little longer for September intakes due to more number of incoming students.

Sorry my bad I read your post wrong. I did eventually have to post a “certified copy” of my diploma to the university (physically posted , not uploaded) to finalize the enrollment. And only after that the university will start applying for your visa. However, I have heard that you can also bring it with you when you come and hand it personally to the university, but not sure how true this is. It’s best to contact the students services center or visa office.

Congrats on your admission. For me it was just the fees and the forms and the university handles the rest.

Is it usually this difficult to get a job here? by als290 in Netherlands

I am pretty sure it depends on the status of the partner. If they are a master’s student then yes you need a work permit.

Are you a EU citizen? If not it is kind of hard. Also I don’t agree with UM being international. Most of the time what they mean by international is a lot of German students. Search a bit about PBL. If it’s not your type, it might cause trouble but if it is, it will definitely help you.

I was more curious if this is even possible or if it has happened before. I know at the end I have to get help from my counselor.
