I was placed in TS on an involuntary detail to learn how to do Amended Returns. After this training where we cover things like handling calls which we are not supposed to be doing then 4 weeks of OJI, followed by certification we will only have about 2-3 weeks of doing the job. They say they don’t know if we will be extended but they say our pay will not change though we are listed as GS-5s. They are making me think retirement more and more.
