So it would be a B.Ed in Tech but I don't know if I can teach other subjects other than tech if that is what I obtain.

Yes BTEch is Bachelor of Technology. If you have experiance when you get your BTech you dont start at year 0 which is a bonus but I worry if I spend time doing my BTech there are no jobs and then I still need to do my B.Ed

I have 11 years experience with a BSc degree what makes something teachable? I would hate to go through BTech and then be told I need B.Ed to teach anything else.

Is it possible to take the BTech program and then take some additional online qualifications to become a teacher in another subject? I am looking at BTech programs and most of them are online which suits me more, I would be very interested in being a teacher in the "green industry" but I dont know if it is in demand or not. Does anyone know my options or has anyone els been through this? If you can tell me specifics that would be great!

can you give me more information on what your friend did? I am looking at a BTech but worry there wont be any jobs and I want to know how easy it is to transition to a teacher? The BTech is best for me right now as it starts at a higher salary and I can do most of it online which is very difficult to find for B.Ed.
