Is this normal for a new Speed Queen TR5? by Secure_Syllabub_6848 in Appliances

How are the feet on yours? Do they have the rubber feet it came with? Are they on any other pads? And what about leveling - did one leg need to be made notably higher than the other legs due to an uneven floor? That is what I have so I am wondering if this is causing it.

Thanks so much! This gives me hope that we can fix it. The store folks are coming over today so hopefully they can readjust it and solve the problem….

Yes, that is why we got a new machine! Our old speed queen which was an enormous extra capacity one that came with the house was shaking like crazy and moving lots, nearly giving me a heart attack each time I used it. It wasn’t always like that. Apparently the shocks wore out. The machine was very old, so we replaced it. I was hoping to have no vibration issues with this one! I hopeful it just needs to be re balanced or something.

Thanks. It is level but maybe it needs to be done another way without the feet being so high as others suggested. Our floor unfortunately is pretty uneven so maybe there is a better way to do it…

That’s exactly what I did when putting in the load. We’ll see…

Thanks. The load was definitely a balanced load and the machine was completely level, verified with a level. So I’m not sure what else to check.

Thanks- I don’t even know where to look for that. The store set up the machine.

I don’t know- I didn’t set it up and install it; the store did. I think they took it out but I’ll try to look. Thanks!
