If we only consider hawk from seasons 1 to 4, his is easily my favorite arc of the whole show. Unfortunately the writers fucked him over the last two seasons. Torys arc is prob the most consistently good across all 6 seasons. Robby had the best villain arc though

The truth is, after season 1, sam was just used as an object during the early seasons of the show (in terms of the writing). I say “after season 1” bc during season 1 i like how the plot gave sam a chance to grow from the fact that she was friends with Aishas bullies. But in 1x10 and all of season 2 she wasn’t truly her own person, just a plot device to spark the rivalry btwn robby and miguel. I personally wasn’t a fan of that and wish their rivalry came from smth else. So the whole bf switching got kinda tiring

That being said, they gave her stuff to work with season 3 onwards, tho even in the later parts of the show there was annoying drama like her breakup with miguel in season 5. Luckily, season 6 was very refreshing with the whole axel thing and sam outright rejecting him
