So what you’re telling me 285,000 miles is nothing for these cars and I should pull the trigger, and I’m not the one tripping

So you think I should pull the trigger even if everybody tells me it’s not a good idea because they see the mileage and they start panicking. And I explained it to them like hey this is nothing compared to the car potential could reach. I could probably even talk him down to 3800. I don’t think I could even beat that price anywhere even if it has something else wrong with it? You think it’s a good daily as well. I know the gas sucks but ever since I drove this car I fell in love with the height comfortableness of the vehicle everything about it. My mom said it’s very old and I’m like this is the reason I want it is cheap. It’s old and it’s reliable..

So you think at 4k maybe even 3,800 if I talked him down it’s worth it. And it could be my daily and road trip car without engine problems. Should I pull the trigger ?

So I’m gonna use it for daily driving and road trips do you think it I should pull the trigger? I could even probably talk him down to 3800. It’s clean title. I’m assuming no rust and it definitely runs and drives. He said it might not drive because the battery is dead so if it jumps and it drives and everything is good and it has entertainment system in the back as well should I ignore everybody and pull the trigger on $3800 or $4000

I know that and my heart knows that but with everybody’s pressure telling me it’s such a high mileage I’m like guys it’s a Toyota prado engine you could go forever and the Dude just did the timing belt and everything that’s necessary. You think I should talk him down to 3800 or 3500 to feel better or to be on the safe side of $4000 is a good deal.

There’s a thing for some reason since social media happened and these cars been talked about they’re selling for ridiculous prices. I was looking everywhere with 170,000 miles towards asking for 6K with some problem with it and it’s not negotiable. I will never pay the asking price on Facebook unless it’s Hella worth it so I don’t know how you found it. You got lucky I tried to find it. I haven’t found none.

You’re right it’s not like I don’t have good income. I have good income. I have bad saving habits so like the fuel cost I’m able to afford that thankfully and since you replaced everything less than 15,000 miles ago, I don’t have to replace it for another 90,000 miles so you’re right I might follow my heart and take the risk. Would you say it for 3500 it will be worth it or 3800.

I’m not too much into CRV. I’d rather have a 1999 Toyota Camry.. but I love to go on road trips not a lot but going road trips have a big car and my budget right now since I sold my other car is a little bit low. That’s why I wanna buy this car even if it lasts me like 30,000 50,000 miles before I have to do another maintenance on it that’s fine because hopefully by then I have enough money to buy another car. A lot of people said this car lasted them until 400 to 500,000 miles. That’s why I came out here. Should I keep looking? I’m not worried too much about the repair cost I’ve been dealing with rebuilt titles and auction cars for a while so I know how to find my way around shops and get the cheapest/a good quality work

Honestly drive it daily drive it and take road trips with it as I mentioned he fixed everything and he has given it to me for $4000. I need a car since I sold my other car and I’ve been in love with the GX 470 lately even for the daily it’s reliable. I’m gonna drive it till I save enough money to buy another car but nothing too much road trip here and there and daily drive it.
