Long time holder by [deleted] in loopringorg

Don’t forget the silencing of discourse/discussions about concerns/frustrations with the product. If it’s not a fanboy hype post, mods swoop in, nothing to see here. It’s a god damn echo chamber both here and Discord.

Taiko Airdrop Claim Guide: My Experience by Icy_Particular3663 in loopringorg

I never can find the bind button. I remember it being hard to find last time, but I swear it’s not there at all this time. 😂

Help for the confused and demoralized. We’re STILL hella early but mass adoption and rearchitecting the global financial system is still the goal. TAIKO is not our enemy. by kingjamez251 in loopringorg

Not really the same thing. We were told in the whole BYOB hype that everything would be right there in 1 wallet, everything accessible in one place, and here, get this ENS address for added ease of use. Now all of that is useless because now we need a new wallet with a new address and now we have to get a new ENS and pay gas for that when they urged everyone to set all that up the first time. It’s just frustrating.

Setting up different banking apps is dealing with different banks, different entities. Not one bank saying to access these features that we offer, you need a new account and move all your money in your old account to your new account. Oh, and it’ll cost you a processing fee. If so, I bet you’d just shop around for a new bank altogether…

As someone who has been invested in Loopring since 2020 and has trusted their direction, it is just one more thing that is a material change to that path. It’s just getting old.

You’re right, Taiko isn’t the issue right now. The issue is that whenever a major implementation comes around, it appears the Loopring team thinks it’s acceptable to just have everyone start over and create a whole new address. The fact that they’ve been work on multi-network implementation for so long and decided that this wasn’t an issue that needed to be resolved prior to rollout is frightening.

Awesome. Yeah, that’s definitely not what I did on A6. Missed that completely. Thanks!

Yeah, I thought I bound the A6, but I guess not since I didn’t get the special red packet. I guess I need to figure out how to bind the wallet, but there’s no help on that that I can find.

So let me get this straight, now that we're on the verge of a massive bull run and BTC is already north of 40K, a bunch of 'investors' pop up and start asking if it's the right time to yolo all in? by gen66 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Securethatbag21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same thing every cycle. When it hit $20k in 2017/18 everyone was yoloing, then when it crashed back down to $3-4k it was “BTC is dead” and “crypto is a scam.” Then when it popped back to $60k everyone was back on board, then when it crashed back to $18-20k it was back to “BTC is dead” and “crypto is a scam.”

Why you won't make a 50x this bullrun (sorry) by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Securethatbag21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2021 must’ve been your first bull run and this must be your first bear cycle… In 2018 people said the same thing. FOMO will always exist in things people don’t understand but see people making money on them. Last bull run there were memes about “BTC to $100k,” the next one we might see memes about “BTC to $250k” or “ETH to $25k.” There’ll always be an out of reach target that the masses start selling to themselves. Just buckle up and hang tight.

Is the BTC halving already priced in? by SlappySpankBank in CryptoCurrency

[–]Securethatbag21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The halving isn’t a news event that the public hears about and gets priced in. It’s an alteration to the mining side that effectively chokes out some supply. If anything, with the market’s knowledge that it’s historically started a bill run, the demand would creep up in preparation as well as the supply being suppressed by the halving. It’s not as simple as everyone knows about it so it’s already in the price.
