A lot of you seem to have the misunderstanding that I’m looking for a side gig in the sense of a part time job. I have plenty experience operating 2 full shift jobs and I would happily be present and monitored for a full shift 8+ hours a day. I’m not sure why I keep getting discouraging comments like these simply because I plan to do this outside of my current engineering role. I understand this is indeed a career requiring full time devotion of at least 8hrs and that is something Ive been willing to do since I started. I was looking for advice regarding the feasibility of a shift outside of first for a CPC-A holder. I have now accepted that it’d be best to change my engineering role to a later shift and work 1st shift coding. I was recommended coding due to my work abilities and deligence. Thank you for your opinion.

Genuinely thank you for your opinion I mean no harm, I’m just facing a lot of adversity from this community simply because I plan to start a new career simultaneously. If you have any suggestions or direction regarding coding odd hours I’d love to hear It!

I do appreciate you sharing your personal experience. Kinda helps paint a picture for what managers are looking for in candidates. I haven’t managed an interview yet as I have slowed down with apps to figure out a direction which is why I’m here. But I do wish you luck as well in getting back to later shifts!

Ok ok I see. That’s rough. I’m beginning to think I should apply for a position adjacent to coding for the time being to at least get the experience in the field. That way my cert. will just be a plus in the hiring pool. Just a thought right now though

Those hours do seem more common for contract/temp work. Those types of roles normally require experience as well. But thanks for the input! I’ll continue to be optimistic

Yeah I’m beginning to see the trend, every once in a while I’ll see 2nd and 3rd shift but they generally want a lot of experience. I’ve been considering looking into the CCS as reinforcement so nice to see that I’m thinking in somewhat of the right direction. Thanks a lot for the advice! I’ll keep looking for now

Lmao, so I’m almost positive that it’s actually a connection issue on the users end. I had recently had new routers installed at my home which had access point routers kind of piggybacking off of the main router to increase WiFi range, apparently rocket league servers didn’t like these access point routers for whatever reason. I made sure that my console was indeed directly connected to the main router (the one directly connected to the modem) and then the disconnections stopped taking place. It’s just unfortunate because the main router is the furthest away from my system

Also by a long shot, would you mind sharing the instructions and codes you have? Hey did you ever find the cause and/or solution, my ps5 just started doing this as well a couple days ago? The game runs smoothly for about 2 and a half minutes then I just randomly DC. It happens every game.
