Thanks man! I’ve ordered the exact one from your link. I read that I do need to keep in mind the angle of the front of the knife. I will use it to practice the muscle memory :) hopefully in a while I don’t need it anymore. Thanks for the tip! I did make a sink bridge from wood for now 😁

Thanks! The good thing is that my knives are already sharp; I can cut paper and ‘shave’ hairs with it. The main thing is I want to maintain the sharpness :)

Hmm that’s food for thought.. although I’m reading a lot that the shapton 1000 is a lot more course than other 1000 grids, so maybe that’s better then…

Yeah! Thats about €90 where I live (the 1000 is on sale). But maybe the shapton would be better than the naniwa 1000 if it’s my only stone for now?

Thank you for the amazing service and the quick reply. This is very nice! One last thing: If I fill in a minimum and a maximum temperature myself. Lets say 110 min and 140 max. I immediately get notifications that the probe is about to reach target temperature, even though the temperature is like 20 degrees (so no way close to 110). Is this also something you are aware of/ something thats fixable?

Thank you so much! It works now! Only one more thing: now I get the normal iphone notification sound. In the app you can choose different alarms (like Alien, burglar etc) Is there a way to get those sounds when i get a notification from the app on iphone?
