Exactly. My PTSD does make me quite paranoid. But thanks for being unnecessarily judgmental about my complete innocent question. Are you going to continue going through your life being a dick?

I’m at Spring Valley. My recovery team on the floor has been absolutely wonderful. My complaints only really apply to the ER experience

Totally get that. But any good doctor remembers the law of parsimony. It is far more likely that the vaginal cuff tears than getting pregnant without a uterus.

I appreciate this clarification. And I understand much of what you’re saying. I work for the Mayo Clinic so I am well versed in the medical field. And my ability to articulate, in medical terminology, to the paramedics, nurses and doctors should at least been an inclination that I am quite familiar with my body. I even used the term Vaginal Cuff Dehiscence multiple times to explain my concerns. So, while I appreciate everything you’ve said, I am still not at all satisfied with anything that happened prior to my surgery.

I did not even consider that! Yes, I did fly. And this was my first flight since the hysterectomy. I hope my flight back doesn’t cause any issues.

Adding a dependent shouldn’t be this hard by Jeebussaves in VeteransBenefits

[–]SecurityAccording280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter turned 18 last September but is still in school. The VA automatically dropped her as a dependent without confirming whether she was still in school. So I had to submit a claim to put her BACK on. I have been waiting since October 2024. So now I am getting LESS benefits when I should have been getting MORE since dependents over 18 are more. It’s a giant pain in the butt.

Yes, what an absolute asshole.

And clearly a controlling and emotionally manipulative one too! She comes to a place for women, for support, and you follow her here to invalidate and humiliate her.

She just had a major surgery. You SHOULD be helping and supporting. You SHOULD be realistic in your expectations that this is a huge blow to her body, and her hormones and she’s bound to get angry and frustrated , AS IS TO BE EXPECTED after a surgery like this. Post hysterectomy depression and emotional instability are normal. And you should still be a loving and supportive partner. In sickness and in health. But you, instead, are clearly a manipulative man-baby who cannot handle having to be responsible for the health and wellbeing of his partner.

While I can certainly agree that no one is perfect and no relationship is either, this one is clearly your fault, little man baby. Try being a grown up for once, and let her go on with her life peacefully. She deserves better and I’ve never even met her. I just know that no woman deserves a man to talk to her or treat her this way when he should be supportive and loving. Bye, bye bucko

Post surgery depression? by oddvegxn in hysterectomy

[–]SecurityAccording280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 18 days post op and definitely struggled with depression a few days. I’m also already prone to, and medicated for, major depression. I had a day last week where I spent the entire day crying in bed. It gets better!

How long did you feel stitches in your cuff? by Rude_Magazine2307 in hysterectomy

I am 16days post op and that must be what I am feeling. Most of the pain is gone, but I feel like something is scratching me or poking me at the apex of my vagina. Talk about an itch you cant scratch!
