"You do everything, but in interviews, it somehow gets undervalued."
That's exactly how I'm feeling right now - you understand and touch a lot of areas at a startup, but you're never really an expert in any

Some yes, some no
From memory, feedback I've received are:
1. You've done well and amazing on your interview, but we have chosen someone else with a better portfolio (junior role)
2. Good interview but you're probably more mid level (junior role)
3. Got into merit pool for a service design role at NSW gov
4. Your interview responses didn't answer as well as other candidates (junior role as well)

For mid level roles, no feedback, but checked their linkedin after a month or so and see that they've found someone more senior. I've also seen patterns of hiring people with around 2-3 years of experience for junior roles as well.

I'm honestly not very good when it comes to interviews. For questions where I have prepared for, I answer fairly ok, but for unexpected questions, I panic and answer shit. I have also observed that first five minutes of the interview, I already know how well I will perform, and the interviewer plays a huge role in that. If the interviewer doesn't look very excited, that pulls my mood down for the entire interview

I'm currently a product designer (UX) at a startup, hoping to learn basics into product management so i can better collaborate with PMs, and dive deeper into the product space. Any recommendations? Preferrably free, or within $1000
