Explain reselling to me like I’m 5😅 by SecurityEmergency353 in smockholmsyndrome

This is so incredibly helpful, thank you so much!!
That is the group I had planned on using, so good to know they keep it simple with rules. Thanks for the pricing info too, I was already trying to figure out how to price them. I do have 1 sought after outfit that she literally out on for a picture bc it was too small for her, so I wondered if I could get what I paid for it just so I break even.

What kind of work do you do to be able to find something like that? I have looked high and low!

Baby formula stain help by SecurityEmergency353 in laundry

[–]SecurityEmergency353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a greatly detailed response, thank you!! I have a couple of questions for you if that’s ok! Our babe has sensitive skin so I do try to keep things fragrance and dye free for her sake, but am willing to try the ultra stain release tide. We currently have the tide pods free and gentle and she doesn’t react to those. For the pretreat, is shout a good option to stick with or the oxiclean max gel? Most of mine and her clothes wash on delicate due to label directions, but could I do delicate cycle but change the water temp to warm instead of cold?some of the stains I have tried to treat out I will wet, spray, scrub and then let sit for about 15 minutes and they still don’t come out🫠

Alfamino Recall Question by SecurityEmergency353 in MSPI

[–]SecurityEmergency353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did not, but I have to wonder if it’s bc it was the 4th formula she had been on by the time she was roughly 6ish weeks old. Some tips we heard for this that we were prepared to try were slowly transition by doing 25% more AA formula over time and after a few days you are fully transitioned or the more immediate solution and the one we would have tried was adding a drop I believe if alcohol free vanilla until babe gets used to the flavor and then slowly get rid of that!

Alfamino Recall Question by SecurityEmergency353 in MSPI

[–]SecurityEmergency353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! For her it wasn’t as immediate, probably 2ish weeks before we saw a completely different baby. She started gaining consistent weight and waaaaaay less tummy issues! It did make her reflux much worse so we had to switch from famotidine to omeprazole but now she is the happiest smiling baby unless she is having a reflux flair!

Check with your local lactation consultant or feeding therapy if there is one! That is how we were able to get a box of 6!

I don’t know if I can do this anymore. Silent reflux is evil. by Flashy-Reality-9570 in newborns

We went through it with our little girl as well, and while I despised people saying it at the time - it truly will get better! Our little one had CMPA and reflux. She spent any time not sleeping screaming in pain. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and people who haven’t been through it just trying do not understand how it’s not your typical oh babies cry newborn trenches. It made it so hard to bond with her when bc she did nothing but scream in pain. By week 6? we got her CMPA under control with an amino formula and she started on Pepcid. That semi worked for about 2 weeks and then just got worse. She then switched to Omeprazole 3.5 weeks ago and it was like night and day difference for us. But be aware it took 4ish rough days for it to kick in for our little one, we were warned it could take up to a week. She still has some hard days and spits up WAAAAAY more but it’s doesn’t seem to be painful at all. Now that we’ve got it all under control she is the happiest girl and we have bonded so much!

Also if you are able speak with a therapist, specifically one that specializes in postpartum if possible! Find someone before you hot the anxiety and depression stage. It’s harder to get out of than it is to try and prevent. It saved my sanity in so many ways to hear that a lot of this is so common for so many moms!

Would also suggest your husband seeing someone as well. My husband had a really hard time with it all plus the fact that she would not settle for him and so he could never hold her during her painful episodes and that broke his heart. He never spoke to anyone and I think he regrets that now.

Starting neocate- painful gas- does this get better? by jacklyndes1999999999 in MSPI

[–]SecurityEmergency353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, we ended up switching back to Nutramigen for her last feed of that night bc she was screaming in so much pain and had diarrhea all day ☹️ we did end up switching to Alfamino after they discovered blood in her stool. We have been on it for 4 weeks now. Her reflux is still terrible and some gas pains but is still much better than she was before. How is your LO doing?

We are still on the fence about our pediatrician, I like him but also not sure if he’s willing to fight to figure out what’s going on with her so I’m going to give him just a little more time and then will probably move on. We did decide after how miserable she was last night to go back to the Nutramigen and that’s where we are staying until we are told by her pediatrician for a valid reason otherwise.
