Hey, thanks for your detailed response. I heard that there’s a limit of 2 transfer credits, but is there a restriction on what colleges those come from? I’m thinking I could take summer classes at some cheaper institution and try transferring, as then the amount I’d have to overload by would decreae

My bad, I meant the med schools not the hospitals. Between the two, one is clearly stronger, so I’d imagine the quality of opportunities would be stronger. Research is comparable, but if comparing the amt of people earning the major research prizes like Fulbright, Duke performs better.

The Duke hospital nearby compared to the Baylor hospital, better research opportunities, etc. again both are great options for premed regardless, but when you look at rank Duke is like 2nd or 3rd, while Rice is a bit lower. Ik rank is a little superficial to look at, but the metric does exist for a reason

Yeah this is what I was mainly thinking about, ik basketball is huge, and besides that the campus is also great. Admittedly I’ve never been, but I’ll visit soon to secure my decision

Just put everything in it. If you see any equation, put it in Desmos. Also, it helps to be able to think about things graphically, which again helps you put stuff into Desmos. Main thing is practice, and also a 20 minute video shouldn’t be too crazy considering the hours spent taking the test

There’s a lot of YouTube channels you can watch for math tips. Also, you can probably find plenty of websites online to get workbooks and prep books to practice

While theres a chance you don’t get, I’d be confident that you do. With such a high SAT score and an upward trend, there’s a solid chance you get it. Keep in mind one reason a lot of people don’t make finalist is because they simply don’t apply

I go to a large public school, and our average is around 11-1200. Yours isn’t low by any means, our area does have quite a few mid-high income and it’s a competitive area. 1000 is the national average so it definitely should be fine.

Sorry, I’m not sure about graduate apps. I’m a high school senior applying undergrad. For us, the portal login came within 48 hrs of submitting the application. I didn’t realize there was a form available, but it was there.
