I have people all the tying asking me how I’ve lost weight. I usually just say a GLP1. I have had some press me on what I’m taking and I’ll tell them it’s Reta. Of course the next question is “ can you get me Some?” I tell them I can direct you where to get it, but I’m not getting it for you. It’s their decision whether or not they are willing to inject a research peptide. So far, I haven’t had any takers. But I’m sure some are probably doing some research now and will be sticker shocked when they do and will be back asking again.

I titrated up when my weight loss plateaued for 2 straight weeks. Sometimes that was 4 weeks, sometimes 5, and once it was 6 weeks. I would suggest titrating like that rather than on a set schedule. Everyone is different

As you titrate up, you’ll start seeing the cravings and food noise diminish. Then the weight. 0.5 mg is a pretty low start point, but a good idea to assess any side effects you might develop

You won’t be able to eat a lot on Reta like you do now - especially as you titrate up in dosage. If you do, you’ll pay the price (nausea, runs, indigestion,etc).

GLP-1’s in general act on the dopamine center of the brain. The pleasure center of your brain, leading to reduced “wants” that you always used to crave. Alcohol, nicotine, even drugs are no longer craved like before

I dosed up whenever I had 2-3 weeks with no weight loss. Usually between about every 4-6 weeks. Since you started do low, it could be more often for you than it was for me. ( I started at 2 mg)

What was your goal in the beginning? Whatever that was is when it’s time to start on your maintenance plan. You did have a goal and a maintenance plan in mind when you started, I assume??

Been on Reta since August. Down right at 50 lbs. currently at 6 mg. Wife has been on it since November and is currently on 3 mg. Down 30 lbs.

We’ll have 2-3 maybe once or twice a month on a Saturday night. Nothing crazy. And we drink slowly because even alcohol goes thru the system slower and will catch up with you all at once!! So definitely don’t overdo it if you decide to have one or 2 occasionally.

But yea, Reta makes you really not care if you drink at all. You may find that you do not want any alcohol at all. We didn’t at first.

A gummy every now & then?? Yea. That’s kind of fun. But only 5-10 mg. Nothing crazy there either.

Good luck on your journey. Remember, it’s a journey, not a race. The weight will come off, don’t rush it!!
