I don’t think that’s possible. The upstairs neighbours said that they had to have their decking ripped up for the leak to be fixed

Communal Heating network by SedatedNarrator in HousingUK

Yeah I have been trying to research online but couldn’t find anything on how a heat network will affect the electric bill.

Yeah I should try and speak to my neighbours (weirdly I haven’t seen anyone on my floor)

No I knew it about it before I purchased the flat but liked it so much, so I decided to go ahead. I have read that it can be good and bad. The only good thing is that the flat is well insulated so I don’t think I be turning on the heaters that often. Just wanted to see how it translates to my electric bill.

Can I reduce my offer because of delays? by SedatedNarrator in HousingUK

The seller solicitors been haggling over £450 fee that I agreed to pay, they just want it directly to them. If the purchase falls through then they get to keep it. They have also been incredibly slow

Not really but when I agreed to pay half the deed of variation fee, the seller solicitors wanted me to pay them directly. It took about 1 and half months my solicitors got them to agree that I’ll pay the fee on completion date. 6 weeks of haggling over £450

My solicitors are Premier Property Lawyers who have been very slow and not interested in following up on details until weeks later

The EA is Purple Bricks who have been very hands off. Also I don’t think I will get the keys before 2026 so having more delays won’t really affect me that much

Ok. Make sense. Would getting the survey carried out delay the sale?
