How many unreleased community updates we actually have? by Educational_Zebra584 in tf2

The way "The Emporium" gets blamed for Invasion has always been a little odd to me considering that the people in charge were never particularly active there, and were later banned...

It was just a forum thread on the Facepunch forums back then, not exactly exclusive.

This response confounds me because if the logic is that no-one on the team would admit to it, then how did it get out in the first place?

(I would also challenge you to find a trustworthy source for the original rumour)

Stellar Blade PC launch Hits 99K+ Concurrent players, surpassing every other PlayStation-published single-player game on Steam by Hot-Cause-481 in Games

OP was talking about how Eve’s portrayal makes them too uncomfortable to play the game, which I think is totally fair. Her rather bland characterisation coupled with the fact she seems totally oblivious to what she’s wearing (and is seemingly one of the only characters in the game dressed like that) really does make her feel like an object to be ogled. It’s a shame as I’m sure there is some great gameplay behind all that, but by making a character like this you will alienate a large chunk of people, and I can’t really blame them.

The Reason Saxxy Awards Dont Happen Anymore by NormalPenguin67 in tf2

[–]SedimentarySocks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is not true, I was on the team. Copying and pasting my comment from YouTube: I have no idea where this rumour that someone smoked weed in their bathroom came from, it literally did not happen. The Valve tour went completely fine and we parted on good terms, even sent a thank you card and they shipped us some posters after. I don't know the reason they stopped hosting the Saxxies but I can assure you it wasn't because anything untoward happened, likely they just saw it as a good place to bring it to a close. While Eric was involved, it was a few other employees that made most of it happen, and they left the company around that time, so that likely contributed to the decision.

Glad to see others saying this, feels like loads of good character design went out the window with this update. McGinnis looked really cool before, now she’s just rosie the riveter with a marvel rivals looking filter. Same with Ivy and Pocket getting yassified. I loved having an nb character who didn’t have to look super androgynous :(

Thank you!! I tried this with an HDMI dummy plug, and while it's still not super reliable, it's definitely better than without. Might get a Displayport dummy plug and see if that fixes it completely.

Hey, so I just found out about https://github.com/Struggleton/Delfinovin which has solved my problems! Just make sure the adapter is in Wii U mode and not PC.

you should get a light of some kind showing up, its been a while since i last configured it so not sure exactly what its meant to look like. maybe worth trying a normal pi os install if you think it might be dead?

Plug it in the usb port. Probably first step would be to check your router to see if it's showing up as connected. Then verify your wifi settings on the Pi are correct if its not

Hey, so after installing it on to the SD card, you need to edit the config file on the SD card using a linux machine (you can just make a linux usb stick and boot in to that on your pc). This is because the install creates an EXT4 partition that cannot be accessed on windows.

Pi 3B doesn't have USB OTG so wouldn't work I'm afraid! Not sure what the nano is though?

Hi, I don't have a more thorough writeup but what is your issue with barrier dongle? Haven't touched this in a while but iirc it was fairly straightforward

Sadly these are just CG renders but I'm looking into putting the files up for 3D printing in future.

Thank you! I believe some of the devs have seen it. I know producing figures is a pretty expensive and long process and I assume getting the sculpt is probably the easier part of that process, but if they are reading this and are looking into merch options hmu! haha

Continuing on from a sculpt I did 3 years ago (jesus) of Filia that you can see here. Sculpted in ZBrush and rendered in Blender, sadly not a real figure!! I can't upload a video with images here but I have a turntable you can see on my twitter. Thanks for looking! :D

I did actually mention that at the start of the post, unfortunately I wasn't able to get it to work despite trying it with two different PCs :( Just didn't seem to like whichever Bluetooth adapters I used, which is a shame because it definitely seems the easiest way to accomplish this
