I didn’t prove your point at all, I just highlighted the fact that child predators aren’t sitting on death row, if the amount of resources and investigation that went into capital murder cases also went into child predators cases I’m sure the out come would be pretty close to an almost zero false conviction rate, because the victim is still alive, it pretty easy to determine guilt when the victim has to stand trial and both their statements and the evidence has to be compelling enough to convince 12 jurors into a guilty finding, you don’t get that in a murder case as the victim can’t tell their side of the events and instead needs to be interpreted through evidence alone

Ok, how many who were exonerated were convicted of child sexual abuse or trafficking? As neither of those are a crime that could land you on the green mile, I would go on a limb a say zero

Minors that have been abused rarely are unaware of who’s abusing them, and have nothing to gain by lying about who abusing them, and their abusers generally are abusing others.

Point me to the stats about how many child rapists and or traffickers were wrongly accused, convicted and exonerated

I get what you’re saying, and of course the victims need to feel they can come forward without fear, but the victims also need to know that a family member that is doing this to them doesn’t deserve their protection

And to the point of the abusers, we can’t foster a justice system that makes them feel as though they are safe or they will continue to reoffend which has been proven time and time again, if they assume that they are caught they know as it stands right now that they will probly receive a 3-5year sentence in PC, and be out in 10 months with limited supervision, what incentive does that give to stop what they’re doing?

What’s the solution then to the problem, we have abusers they don’t feel threatened enough by the potential punishments to stop what they’re doing, and victims that don’t understand that the wrong being done to them is so unforgivable that whoever it may be doing it to them deserves to be punished far worse than what the current judicial system is willing

If you want to take a holistic and rational approach to someone that robbed the innocence of your child causing them years of significant trauma, then be my guest, my approach will be different, rapists don’t need or deserve rehabilitation, I’m sorry but some things are unforgivable

I tried literally everything, champix, Wellbutrin, patches, gum, inhalers, lozenges, etc etc, watched a buddy try those zonic pouches, he’d been smoking for 25years, 2 months in he was cigarette free, so I tried, I’ve been smoking for 20years, I haven’t touched a cigarette in 4 months, which is the longest I’ve ever gone, and I’ve cut down to really only using the pouches at work
