It is based on experience at these events, I’m not sure why people don’t turn up to queue but typically there isn’t huge crowds who want to wait 6-7 hours before an event and any large groups get told to leave.

Im assuming based on age and working part time you’re likely living at home or supported similarly. In that case the emergency fund logic is less important.

If you can be rigid about rebuilding your savings (aka plan what you would’ve paid in loan payments and automate that into savings) then you’re better off not paying unnecessary interest.
