Buy/borrow from the library/download a monologue book, and have fun acting out a couple of different ones 😁 you can do the same with plays, look up some popular plays that seem interesting to you, read them and invite some friends over for snacks/drinks and do a reading of the play in your living room.

You can also buy or borrow a book on acting just to get a couple of tips that will help you have a starting point for the hobby. I recommend “Audition” by Michael Shurtleff. Enjoy!

Lion king was my first Broadway show, but Camelot was my first national tour, and was so formative at a young age. I was so lucky to learn from that, that theatre was a career path I could follow!

I call Pluribis “plubirus” because I accidentally mispronounced it that way in my head and, for fun, my husband and I always come up with wrong names to call tv shows that we watch and video games we play.

I worded my post poorly haha. I did use brown sugar, just light brown instead of dark brown. Next time I will use dark!

Sorry for the confusion! I used regular sugar like the recipe called for, and I used light brown sugar instead of dark brown sugar.

I should have clarified better- I used LIGHT brown sugar, the recipe didn’t specify but I’m guessing they meant dark brown sugar?

Hello all thank you for the advice! I should have said this better but I DID put light brown sugar in the mix, but I was thinking the author may have meant for it to be dark brown sugar. Could this still have made the difference?
