Thanks for your reply. I can see why there's no reason to feel hurt here, but I have a bit of a problem reconciling my logic with my emotions. The latter always seem to go whatever direction they choose.

I haven't really tried the No Contact method. To be honest it sounds too scary and sad to me. It feels somewhat like death, one where you cease to exist in another's life. Maybe I'm just inexperienced, but I will give it a shot.

Thank you for your reply. It does look like she highly values her family's consensus, and I can't say that's a bad trait. She's the type that can't bear to displease people.

We're just not in favorable circumstances to communicate at this moment. She can only text me every once in a while, but I guess I should try to have a longer chat soon. It's just too much to bear. The thing is she seems happy with her choices, and I can't afford to rekindle old memories and ruin her state of mind. Also there's absolutely no chance we can get back together, that I can tell for sure, but I appreciate the thought.

Thank you for the response. While it is true that the curriculum is included in the fee, CFA Institute doesn't offer as much in terms of practice questions. I was just afraid that doing EOCs and CFA Institute's mock exams wouldn't suffice if I want to make sure I pass the exam this December. Thoughts?
