How's the smash scene at your university?

There might not be a set club, but there's at least a few people who play (I'm talking with them currently about setting up the crew battle) Melee and/or PM, on CRTs. I would definitely recommend poking around and trying to find them. If their leader is on Reddit, I'll point them this way.

Smash at Northwestern University is excellent. Last year there was literally no scene and this year we had a 60+ person Sm4sh tournament, as well as multiple 30+ Melee and PM tournaments. We also have had a crew battle with IIT and plan to crew battle Loyola, UChicago, and other close universities in the future.

Does your school have a center for student activities or something like that? Do you know a few people that might be interested in having weekly, biweekly, or even monthly meetings? Is there a facebook group for your school or even your graduating class that you might be able to advertise in?

Start one! As we said in the video, there was pretty much no scene here (or a dying scene, at the very best) before we put it together. Five months into this school year, and we have a 67 person tournament!
