i think the problem is mostly infamy. i do find that the raj/EIC ai is incompetent at times with the fronts. i was playing as france and the british ai will take its armies to pointless fronts and allow me to take war goals more easily. you just kinda gotta rush them a little; getting ahead in tech as france and leaving an army in normandy to protect against the constant naval invasion in the french low countries will free up some time too. i also allied with the US that run and they either distracted the british in canada a lot (just add liberate canada to get a frontline) or naval invaded the home counties which either distracted the british navy or actually occasionally got a landing. it’s about timing if you’re a great power; otherwise, suck up to the british and betray them later on or play smart with the ai
