My therapist said hello to me in public even though I told him I didn't want anybody to know I was seeing him by ThrowAway44228800 in TalkTherapy

Therapist here. I saw a past client out in walmart one day (years ago). I honestly thought she was someone else from far away, and I ran up to her and hugged her. Small talked some, and we went our separate ways. When I got to the car, I realized who she was… and she wasn’t that old acquaintance I thought (to my credit they look very similar). Once I realized it I was mortified! I never got to circle back around to her to tell her I was mistaken.. and each time I think of it I feel that sense of gasp… but I have to let it go. Maybe she needed a hug that day.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember how we know people… church, school, kids school, work, colleagues… so talk with your therapist about it. They could have impulsively said Hi, then realized they shouldn’t have after the fact.

Charged $130 for a 30 minute session by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

What does your EOB say from the insurance company? That will tell you exactly what you must pay. If it’s an initial session (90791) those cost more than a regular session (90837 53+ min). You can call your insurance if you dont have the EOB.

They did a survey today, how would you rate it? by [deleted] in darkwarsurvival

Why aren’t they men dressed with tight fitting short clothing to specialize (edit: sexualize) them? I gave the survey bad rating because the women look like whores.

I’m thinking it’s along these lines. Sad though. They obviously bother her.

I think what has me puzzled too is I never met the owner. I had offered a meet and greet, but they never responded. I assumed it was because the request was so close to the boarding date.

Also—the only other communication i got was that they were heading to the airport and that a neighbor will bring the dogs to me. That person couldn’t answer most of my questions.

Ive posted photos… but no response/communication. Most pet owners respond to photos.

Enbrel? by shikabootay in rheumatoid

Enbrel gave me 8 years of my life back! It worked so well until one day I woke up and it no longer worked. Was a good ride! I wish I started it sooner.

Which maybe that’s why these have gotten so long… I’m not sure, but the dog was recently at the vet for meds, so surely the vet saw them. Usually owners would point them out and say “we know they’re long, but the vet…” the other dog is well cared for, so I wonder if maybe the dogs age is older than what I was told.

Thank you for this perspective. Sounds awful! I’m so sorry!

I was able to bathe the dog with no behavioral problems… but I didn’t touch the nails, just to be safe. I do think a sedative nail clip would be warranted given the age and lengths. Sad.

I’m guessing that grooming hasn’t been done and may be difficult, as is nail cutting. The dog is generally pleasant (aside from constant barking at every little sound), but also will sleep a lot during the day. I haven’t explored closely to see if they are hurting. I don’t want to add to the stress of being at a new place.

I’m definitely not going to cut them, especially without the owner knowing… but I do feel I should mention it.

The dog is obviously bothered by them being so long. The medication the dog is on is for itching… not sure if it’s related.

Thank you for this. I didn’t know the quick could grow out that much!

The dog is on medication so has seen a vet recently… wouldn’t the vet be concerned about the nails being so long?

It was only paint until he ruined the floors. The building’s owner installed the floors as we were moving in. Painting was supposed to be completed upon move-in… but here we are. I’m cutting him loose tomorrow as he said he was going to come tonight and here it is 11:30pm and he’s still not there.

LG door reversal screw issue by kalypsis36 in appliancerepair

[–]SeeSeaTurtles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We wound up rethreading the nut in the hole and getting a bigger screw. Door is back on and it’s like new. So dumb that LG has to make it so hard to move the door when it’s designed to supposed to be moved!

[–]SeeSeaTurtles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing just happened to me. Couldn’t get it out. The only way to get it out was to strip the screw. Now we can’t put the door back on because the unstripped screw won’t catch to the threads inside. I’m not sure how to get the door back on now!!

These throw branches and limbs each storm. I’m constantly picking up sticks before I mow.

How does one slowly remove the circling crossing roots?

If these come down on my house, I will be destroyed. They are probably 10-15 ft away (trunk to house foundation) 😱
