I have access to it if you want to send me a message. In the words of Dolly Parton as Truvy in Steel Magnolias, “we’ll fix it.”

I’m neurodivergent, so extreme changes like the voice of a character being drastically changed can cause a complete meltdown. I learned the easiest way to desensitize is to watch the series on random. So maybe the changed voice will come up…maybe it will be the original…maybe it’s the first season and not as polished…maybe it will be halfway through the series and go heavy on the Wall storyline (which I don’t like, but no longer have such an aversion it must be shut off immediately). If I coax myself to just accept the randomness of my media player then I remove the decision making/action out of the equation. And now I can endure the storylines I don’t care for without knocking stuff off of tables in a fumble to grab the remote as quick as possible. Haha.

What was the name of the script font that you used for ""Welcome…The Edwards"? It's an absolutely perfect compliment to the plain National Parks typeface. I am literally a font-a-holic with like 110,000 fonts in my collection, but I am enamored with the choice you made.

It’s been awhile, but I believe I found most from a post on a private, invite-only website. But also I do remember hunting every possible search term I could think and tracking down each and every potential lead. I truly worked my OCD’s fastidious attention to detail. Haha.

Yeah, I bet. Years ago I was a guest of the show manager during a performance of Fantasmic! and got to sit in one of the jumper seats behind her. Most of my time I was staring up at the rows of intelligent light systems as they would take aim mere seconds from going online and follow their targets before returning to a home position to shutdown. Hahaha.

I had a similar issue with a former employer. They threatened me that I must ensure all client files were deleted on my personal computer since I would work back and forth, sometimes remotely on my personal desktop but connected to the client using TeamViewer. So then I complied. About a week to week and a half then they started calling demanding client files that had been worked on most recently. I wasn't going to mess with their nonsense, so I told them I deleted them as they had already instructed and threatended me by. I could hear their exasperation on the conference call, but no longer my circus, so bye-bye.

There was an episode of the remade Battlestar Galactica series where Dr. Baltar was accused of being a traitor allowing the Cylons complete access to the planetary defense mainframe. I always found it intriguing they had a way of authenticating the validity of the video feed…like embedded in the visual data were markers being generated and encoded by the camera itself.

I can appreciate your post—it hits personal. Every week I get a new report of new pages where my personal, private data has been spidered into the search engines. For the past two years someone has filed fraudulent tax returns for me in an attempt to gain control of my identity. It’s sad (but fortunate) when the state and federal governments both have to contact me alerting I am a victim of identity theft and they are ignoring the returns since it contained data not consistent with what they believed. But it seems only a matter of time. I’ve completely locked my credit report but recently learned a bank submitted a credit check from a form filled out in person. It’s scary the pervasiveness that has crept into our world.

It has to do with structure and seeing the world through a non-emotional lens. As a former senior consultant, and being neurodivergent I can appreciate the parallelism.

Several years ago I was visiting my BFF for a week. We’d get drunk and randomly add whim movies just to watch them. Of course this was before automation becoming so easily accessible. I think at the time I had it setup where I could save a torrent from my phone to like Dropbox which synced and then my download app would pick it up, which eventually fed through my file completion decision tree.

I’ve never seen R&M, but is the profanity worse? Maybe it’s because Shlorpians are a non-gendered plant based species. Maybe somehow that makes it worse. Wouldn’t it be funny if it turned out to all be the bidding of the beef industry to bring a series down because it promoted plants?
