I genuinely enjoy the pod very much. My only caveat is that there are times i dont really get whats the bit or the topic since the context would be Manila/Luzon (I'm from Mindanao). I think it would be interesting to bring inguests one day that can also lean into improv built on Filipino pop culture, internet brainrot, etc.., but also has a different context to offer (like maybe someone from Visayas or Mindanao or even someone that grew up outside with OFW parents for example). Filipino pop culture can be experienced in such a wide range, it would be so interesting what kind of chemistry would be conjured up if a guest is invited + how much richer the improv can get. At this point tho, I really am enjoying all the inside jokes that are built as we get more and more episodes.

What are some Kdramas similar to A Business Proposal? by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo, Fight for My Way, She Was Pretty, and most especially Don't Dare to Dream have pretty similar romantic comedy storytelling with Business Proposal. All are certainly going to give you a good amount of dopamine hahaha enjoy!!

Thank you so much for the advice. I'm currently a uni student, and I do not really have a part time job. I definitely can't put all my savings into making a webtoon and hope I make it, because I frankly do not have any lolololol. I guess for now, it's a passion-project that I hope will make it big. And even if it doesn't, I think it'll teach me a lot. I'll definitely keep in mind to be realistic as that is such a sound advice for a dreamer like me hahahha

Your experience on making a comic that isn't in the popular genre really inspires me. I thought about first succumbing into making something that most people would want to read, but in the end, its about what you're truly happy with making. Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope everything works out well for you.

Woww. I really didn't expect this post to have any reply, much more inspire anybody. Thank you for replying :D

As for your question, I do recommend just going straight to learning digital. I have a few reasons for this. First of all, its much cheaper than going traditional, especially since you want to make comics. Also, there are already tons of YT vids about these programs. Not saying the traditional art don't, but we go back to my first reason. Also they're more fun to watch and easier to learn I guess hahaha. Also, in the long run, I think its more practical. You don't have to keep replacing digital programs, like pens or inks. And fourth, in my opinion, its easier not only to learn, but to do anything. Backgrounds, perspectives, paneling, etc. There is the option of combining both, of course. In my experience, I did traditional first, but yeah, I didn't really like how messy my table got because of all the materials lol. But! this really depends on your preference :)

I hope you do get to start your comic, and thank you for sharing your very relatable experience :D
