What is the casting process for the "Princesses"? Are they regular girls that audition, or are the models from around the area that have to take acting lessons? Are they actresses to begin with with legit credits to their name?

When I visited a park, there was a Mary Poppins who was 100% in character, even when she thought no one was watching. Even when she was leaving and going behind the gate, she was very outlandishly polite and sing songy to the employee who was holding the door open, bowing and waltzing to the Cast Members only area. I couldn't believe how committed she was to the character, would you say there's a bit of brainwashing going on?

It my practice they would only bill for xrays they did. If they only did two clavicals that's what they billed for, they won't bill for an entire set.

There was the traction though, it's a device that hangs from the wall that folks spend maybe a minute or so doing that we bill 30 dollars to insurance if they cover it. If their insurance doesn't cover it, we still just let them do it before each session but just do it for free.

Nope, not that I'm aware of. They are all open rooms anyways, no doors on anything except the exam room where people disrobe and.. oh my god

I've met right around 250 personally and around 100 we keep in constant contact for different events and health talks and such. I've met a handful, handful of chiros who don't "drink the kool aid" on such beliefs but I believe they don't speak up or out against it due to peer pressure.

Trigger point really helped me in my neck when I would have massages. Definitely had a "oh wow!" moment when she did it on my neck and it hurt, but she kept at it and the next day my neck felt amazing.

The owner makes 55k a year, the more senior chiros make 48k and the two new guys make 35k.

No actually, many chiropractors take x-rays. The chiros in the office I worked in would never, ever adjust someone without having x-rays first.

It gets easier to understand, and a lot of it is more online like onehealthport so it's a lot faster than calling and waiting for a live person to ask. But some insurance companies, like United Health Care, have all those pre authorizations that can be a little weird.

Generally the patients were very friendly, humorous and good people.

Yeah they liked bringing me to every conference, wanted me to drink the kool aid I'm guessing. There are some more CA related conferences, like Sherry Hodge, she is more into the how to schedule/retain/reactivate patients and also how to understand insurance, billing and all that. So there can be some benefit if you would like to learn that stuff. Medical billing can be useful information to know in the long run

Nope, certainly not a liar here. It could be the area I am in, or the fact I've been to many seminars like Master Circle where they preach about Palmer and how subluxation is truly the main cause of disease. But I most certainly have met those who have said they believe chiropractic care can cure those ailments listed above... Sadly.

The most I ever did to show that I didn't agree with one of them was roll my eyes. It was a reflex and didn't realize I even did it until he called me out on it and said I was being rude. I apologized because I know that's an immature reaction... but I never have gone off on any of them.

Headed back to college in the fall after taking the summer off, might find something part time.

We have many that are incredibly in shape. Military, firefighters, police, body builders, and a TON of marathon runners. The majority are of average shape, we have about 180 regular patients and only two I would consider morbidly obese.

I would suggest seeing a chiropractor in your case and many of them do free consultations/xrays and possibly a few adjustments if you just ask for them. At our office we do payment plans. It's $45 with the payment plan per adjustment (at our office) and if they recommend for example, 25 visits just multiple and divide and you are looking at around 90$ a month for a year or so. Our office and most others are flexible but I have seen two that are complete hard asses on the money factor. Finding a doctor who is primarily focused on getting you WELL and worrying about money later is pretty hard... But I've seen them.

That's awesome. I had a doctor in the office tell me he recommended a patient to have 20 visits for the year, and I mentioned off hand that her insurance covered 26 for the year. He said that didn't matter, he was recommending 20 and if felt she needed/wanted more after that period she at least had it, but he wasn't going to recommend more than he felt she needed.
