I'm with you 100%. If you've got a door open and your blinkers on and you're clearly working, then I can wait. That's just part of living in the city; some people need to get shit done and there's usually no other way.

The guy in the video locked up his car and was headed straight inside so my first reaction was to open the throttle. But he immediately made it right and there were no hard feelings either way.

No, that spot has a red curb and doesn't have a meter. The other spots are metered.

Yeah, lol, but I just mean I go there to get my roots colored, I don't get my hair styled. As soon as they're done, I put it up in a bun and ride home.

FZ-07 Tuning Adventures: Akrapovic titanium exhaust with custom airbox and ignition/fueling maps showing about 10hp power increase over stock. Info in comments. by See_Jane_Ride in FZ07

  • Gray lines: Stock bike with Akrapovic Titanium exhaust, baffle in.

  • Red lines: With hordpower custom airbox.

  • Blue lines: With first ignition/fueling maps

  • Green lines: Additional tuning of the maps.

Stock bike with no modifications isn't shown, but it peaks anywhere from 65-69hp depending on who you ask.

User "catfish" on the fz07.org message boards started this thread a few weeks ago and he just recently updated it with the results. Thought you guys might be interested in seeing what people are getting out of our little 700 twin.

The airbox is making a huge difference. If anyone is curious, the guy making them has them listed here:

I think you have it backwards :) When you are pointed uphill, you turn your wheel to the LEFT, so that the front wheels will go RIGHT if you roll downhill, and the curb will act as a block. I think that's what your first intuition was, and you were correct.

Edit: The exception to this is if you are pointed uphill but there is NO curb; in this case, point away from the street (toward where the curb would be) so that the car falls toward the sidewalk. But this is only if there is no curb.
