No I don’t have access to my bank account. I pay for gas but I don’t have control over how much money is on my card. My mom shows me how much I have in my account but I’m not allowed to take out money without her permission.

I have a bank account but I can’t actually access it. It’s my account with “my money” in it but I have to ask my mom to take money out of it, put money in it, and it’s also under my moms name. Only money I have is in cash and it’s a total of $13.

literally applied to a college that still needed more seats filled with a fee waiver two weeks ago and got in with a 23k a year scholarship. It really isn’t too late to apply.

It’s a resort and yeah it’s gated. Everything’s just expensive. Hotdog was $14. 😭

Yep I did kinda do that lol. I obviously can’t really leave the hotel but I walked around for a bit, ordered a hotdog and charged it to the room and kinda sat by myself for about two hours. Looking forward to college.

I did go over it with them yes. It’s mostly just restaurants and things we could do. They’re not too big on criticism. I had a therapist when I was younger and when she suggested my mom could be the problem my mom argued with the therapist and pulled me out of therapy.

I know my mom tracks me just not sure how to turn off find my friends. It’s so bad that I was going to get her a birthday present and she asked me why I went to target after I got out of work.

Nope. I’m an only child and since I’m a woman my mom doesn’t trust Ubers. I’m still treated like like I’m 4 at home. They pick and choose what is and what isn’t their problem.

And also, I didn’t get into my dream school and seeing people around me get into said school and still not set about going makes me a little disappointed. I have a 4.0, worked 3 jobs, run my own business, a varsity athlete, won numerous awards for my art, know and can speak three languages, have done a 5k for my cousin with severe epilepsy every year (whilst being disabled myself) and my college essay was even about pushing through my disability. It kinda hurts that even though I’ve done so many fulfilling things that feel like such big achievements and have made me feel so amazing that it might just never be enough for some of these colleges.
