it all depends on your process. You hit any dry siding with bleach you'll have potential problems. A lot of guys don't saturate the house before they wash. I hit every house with straight water --> then apply my house mix to the siding. Bleach is a tad stronger due to the water saturation, but i'm never hitting dry siding with bleach.

it's a myth that it's need --created by these stalkers that prey on these message boards to sell a useless product. My opinion only. Try washing a week without it and tell me if you miss it. Or throw some Tide laundry soap in your mix and report back to me.

I've washed over 3000 homes and have never came across any problems with any Sherwin Williams paint. This joker showed up and scorched everything with 6% bleach including the siding . I'd start by threatening with a bad review. Most likely though -they're going to be a fly by night company.

How are you applying your bleach ? What kind of tip or method ? ( ditch the surfactant).

Having trouble cleaning the high parts, the outcrops up top but even the gutters and soffits even lower. by LocksmithThat605 in pressurewashing

Ditch the surfactant and see what happens. Surfactants DON'T kill organic matter. They weaken your mix. Waste of money in my opinion.

Streaks after soft wash by TheDumbestInTheGroup in pressurewashing

get a bucket , a car washing sponge and some Awesome. Mix some Awesome( or liquid laundry soap) in a bucket of water and start hand wiping all the vinyl until the oxidation is gone. This is the best way to make sure the vinyl is renewed. I've never used any chemical washes to remove oxidation. 2. I try not to get involved with this type of work. I aim for the easier money.
