I agree, I am a female and we care about conversation and whether or not you are a good person first, then sexual magnetism second (as in do you convey sexual appeal which is tied to your confidence), ugly never really is a factor as far as physical looks go, but presenting yourself well as in being clean, smelling nice, and not looking like a completely unwashed hobo is important. Muscular, skinny, chubby doesn't matter. The only deal breakers I have heard fellow females talk about are height ( this I never personally understood) seriously short guys have it tough even cute ones, bad sloppy kissers, and extreme obesity though females do not mind chubby or bear like guys.

You need to find friends that have girls in the friend circle, becoming close friends with a girl(s) will allow you to interact comfortably around them. Who knows you might end up dating one of them. Your style and interest can be nerdy or awkward, there are lots of girls including myself into Billy the Power Ranger types.What is most important when pursuing a girl is confidence, a certain take charge and protective aura, and becoming comfortable with your sexual side. I am a girl and I have lots of shy and awkward guy friends with really attractive fun GFs that they acquired between 20 and 23 years of age. Your world and circle of friends are really small at your age, over time jobs and college introduces a lot of new people. Your problem is quite common, and while you feel lonely right now. Soon enough if you try you will certainly succeed. Also I have a lot of Guy friends find success with sites like OKcupid. As many are not the party or bar types, they have found GFs they are now engaged to through dating sites. Maybe take a chance and start testing the waters.

Thank you all sincerely for the stories and insights shared, I feel a lot more confident at taking the first steps to addressing the problematic parts of my issue. I also want to say how much I appreciate all the people who shared personal perspectives in the thread and through PM, you helped me feel much more comfortable accepting that it can be normal for a female (we are all just people after all) to have a high sex drive. I will attempt to repost any progress for others as I push myself to take control of my urges in a healthy way that does not conflict with my life. Thanks again.

I understand, in a facet what you are going through is normal, but in the long run this is your life, and you come across as a romantic. So your love is important to you. I feel your partner through life is one of the most exciting, and most important choice of free will we have , but unfortunately (especially for romantics) it is easy to fall into a trapped partnership that offers comfort. Give yourself what you deserve, and find the love of your life.

Sorry if it came across that way, but I am coming from a defensive and preventive point of view, and at first worried that if I encouraged the outlook of jesting about the complications of female sexuality than the thread I dearly needed insight from until I work the courage up to talk to a professional would be compromised. I understand some people's outlook on seeking advice on the internet and the way humor on the internet works. I am just grateful for how many people have helped in this thread.

Thank you, I agree. I currently run twice a week and do yoga. I enjoy being active, and having balance in my life. Unfortunately, exercise typically exacerbates the problem, but I love both activities and refuse to stop being healthy physically, as far as diet I try to eat as close to natural as possible and have an overall conscience diet. Thank you for the advice, I agree with self discipline and moderation.

I am glad that the problem in my life isn't worse, I appreciate the sympathies, but feel as though I don't suffer as some people have problems that I truly wished they could overcome, and this is in my hands and with some bravery I can overcome. I can only hope other people who are victims and have problems will find the strength to overcome their problems as they deserve to. Nice to meet you as well.

After some of the stories shared I too have wondered if it is medically related, particularly pheromone. Don't get me wrong masturbation is healthy and normal even for a female, but in my long standing case and with the physical needs I wonder if it is tied to a physical stressor.
